I adored your beautifully skilled artisans work. The frugal attention to passing on to others of what wasn't needed and the reuse of old, to add love and harmony to the home and outer space is ingenious. The Chinese art and symbols bought back into the home gave me happiness, as i once had two beautiful Chinese painted art pieces on my walls when first married- they were serene countryside paintings noting symbols and beliefs to acknowledge Chinese culture. That was 40 years ago and im wondering who we gave them away too. I loved your resin table with the red. Maybe im old but i would have loved more Chinese red materials in curtains and soft furnishings- they give a richness to the world. Thank you to your older brother for helping you with the family home- My Dad and siblings from both sides of the families each helped with building our own homes and that was love bundled up in everyones hard work. Im just a New Zealand woman but i do appreciate all that Chinese culture has done to build upon New Zealand. As you may know, we in New Zealand do not hold the richness in centuries you can acclaim but appreciate your food, art, music, philosophy, customs and traditions, just like the rest of the world. This is what I'm most curious about. Although their budget is sufficient, they usually do not give importance to the roof in the videos I watch. they cover it with weak insulation materials. interesting.
