Yes I have that concern as well. I had a bad experience doing a rent-to-own. Made a lot of improvements at my expense, then the owner reneged on the contract and put it up for sale the value being better since the improvements. What a racket!

Since carbon does not rot, this layer shields the wood underneath from rot. The carbon layer makes the wood water-resistant when compared to regular timber." Then you put oil it. I wish I knew which oil they used. I would use tung oil or spar varnish.
You need to show the house and the outside yard completely finished, with the furniture etc not just it almost finished. This would get you more subscribers, but a job well done.👍
