My daughter and I both have this phone and so far its been great!
It's my first 5g phone, I'm impressed with it.
Try showing how much ram is used on the settings menu "device care" to show people how much memory remains for use. I saw a a15 with 4 gigs of ram and was shocked to see that 2.4 gigs were already in use. I have an a11 with 2 gigs and it only uses about 1.5 gigs for the android 12 os. With android 14 it would seem 4 gigs is not really much these days.
Just got this phone to replace my A425G that suddenly died. So far no complaints other than the requisite Samsung bloatware that comes with their phones. Like the stereo speakers.
Flash normal firmware will remove any bloatware from custom verzon or what sim card shop u got the phone

You don't mention which speaker it has you can be a bit precise stereo or mono next time it a duo stereo speakers 👍

Nice phone and 8 Gb RAM version a future proof package (Samsung update policy is among the best, if not the best).
As well on my radar is the Motorola G84 as Edge 40 Neo.
In terms of price very comparable yet do differ in hardware and updates to be had.
Tried the A25 and like it, the Moto G84 I like as well, the Edge wasn't in stock.
Samsung is most of the time a bit underpowered but do have this really solid update policy. Again the A25 is a very nice phone and should be on everybodys short list.

Don't know why they went back with the notch when their A21s have a hole punch on the left size which a much better design.

No charging block? Hard no. New Motorola phones coming out soon. Moto will have one that beats this one on all points including price WITH a charger.
exynos 1280 or helio g99 ?
I was asking this same question recently but after I did some research Exynos 1280 is better but it consumes more power and I heard it overheats more than Helio g99 but I prefer Exynos because of the GPU and CPU
Is it necessary to upgrade from a24 to a25?
I always skip at least one generation since you still get updates. When your phone does not get OS or security updates I would consider buying another phone.

Without forgoting the Poco M6 with 12gb and 512gb in slightly more expensive cost
Samsung are the only phones that just died on me..
Every phone may be defective, no matter the manufacturer. I believe Samsungs are the most quality phones out there, slightly behind Apple...

@@jkosher5091 well I brought the Samsung a14 5g last week and I like it. I purchased a demo for $94. After I did the 6.1 ui update I did a factory reset and phone now works great
