Red is like in middle of tierlist, her weapons are okish not crazy dps as other scoundrels have but her healing expertise can make chance you not dying to other player.
Others call her A tier. Her weapons are some of the best in the game and have the most variety. You do not always know what distance to fight a red from. It's important to look at them in the lobby
I'd be very interested in seeing you use a turret. I read a steam guide about being annoying and one of the suggestions was using Larcin, tripwires, and a sentry turret and just camping things (vault terminals and the case) I've messed around with it a bit and it can be very fun and if there's two blue room entrances to a vault room you can leave the turret on the opposite side so while you rush through the terminal room to get to them they are distracted shooting at the turret and you can shoot em in the back. I feel like the turrets damage and health is really terrible but the main advantage it can give you is distract your enemy and force them to choose something to shoot at, then if you're Larcin and they choose to shoot at you, you can just go invisible and attack when they shoot the turret.
Underrated in the sense that she’s rarely picked compared to the other scoundrels (Xiu, Larcin). She deserves more love. Think a lot of people just forget about her since she’s the newest agent
@@JMiiixm surprised she’s even Scoundrel, she feels like a powerful fighter (I know someone like Knight would be more fitting for Vanguard though) but she is ridiculous with W1, E2 and P1 in solo and especially teams sometimes since she can charge in, tank hits and just wipe the floor with unsuspecting victims Didn’t know my girl Madame was dominating lobbies, thought it was just Larcin Also surprisingly she’s underrated because she’s pretty damn powerful in 1v1 scenarios
I wouldn't say that Red is overrated as much as Larcin is just a powerhouse right now that Red and Chavez's own strength is overshadowed. Red is my favorite agent in a gunfight and she's the only character I can go into a third party fight with like 4 other agents and I know I'll come out on top. The ability to control your engagements and have the ability to test if someone is a player just makes larcin super broken
Getting shot first already puts you at a massive disadvantage that getting that small little damage reduction really doesn’t change much. It’s not a reward, so much as a layer of protection so you actually have a time to react, otherwise gunfights would be over in 2s and people would just run around shooting every single NPC looking for people to kill (which they kinda already do)
I think it’s more that she can quickly get her cover back and deceive others, but in reality she doesn’t really do that. Kinda odd but she’s fun to play
In my personal opinion, the most underrated character is Yu-mi, because apparently, Yu-mi "needs" a buff, when she has a weapon that can one-shot from 100 hp (102 dmg). I also next to never see anyone play this character, and when I do, I get hit in the face for 102 dmg, without any skill, (even if the Yu-mi misses 6 shots in a row, and then HS the last) But I can definitely see Red being underrated
The problem with yumis 3rd weapon is that it's one shot only if they are out of cover, you land a headshot, and if they do not have a decent health chip. In theory, you would think this happens all the time, but in practice it does not. Even for the very skilled. Unless they mess up or you use a trip wire, the majority of the time you will see agents out of cover is when they are fighting. Either you or an enemy.. If they are fighting an enemy, they will likely already be hurt, making the one shot kill unnecessary.. If they are fighting you, you either had to have hit them once already to break their cover (which is immune to headshots) of they shot you first. For many characters, if they shot you first, you are 1-2 seconds from death..which might be as long as it takes for you to charge your one shot...
Your videos are awesome! They feel so professional, I hope your channel sees the growth this kind of work deserves. Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Your support means a lot :)

I agree. I also think she’s much better in teams!

I’ll look into maybe making something going over it!
That sounds fun and I think a Larcin did this to me in teams today (or someone else) but it was interesting
Amazing video, you can melee Infront of Glass doors so the guards open them so you can get in for free
Underrated? As in the build you’re using for her or the character? She feels pretty powerful ngl

I agree. Hopefully the changes the devs make in the next season will bring more balance to the agent pool
Did they get rid of the damage reduction from being in cover? Idk why they'd reward you for getting found out/shot first. Makes no sense

red is as much of a scroundrel as hans, def mislabed her. kit of a disruptor, she aint bad though

Red is so bad. But her character is quite strong, i also started playing a bit of her a week or so ago. I hardly play anymore tho
I enjoy her a ton! That DMR is scary good

Yu-mi with her W3 is definitely overrated, but until you get her to lvl 9 she’s total garbage. Had the worst time playing her before getting her W3
