Kyle Soderman is tall and doesn't skip leg days so when he takes a stride his power propels him further than other athletes. That, combined with his extra height, means he can take less steps and cover the same distance as another athlete in the the same time period therefore looking slower. Did I explain that right? It's late over here in the UK!
Hollywood Freerunners are my tournament favourites this season. All the best to them! I think Enso have yet to adapt to the course so good luck to them as well
Yeah, that match ended 6-0. Although to be fair, Blacklist had a lot of experience and that was Fifth Unit's first match. (There are some high scoring matches at this event too though!!).
Obviously some slip ups by Enso Movement this round but if those turn into lessons learned, I'd be really interested to see what they become down the road!
Will any of these matches ever be livestreamed? I love the edited down intensity, but would be cool to see the full experience too, especially in a live chat setting with the community together.
The matches get better and better as the events progresses. After the group stage we have the playoffs where the losing team gets knocked out and it really does ramp up in intensity at that stage.
I have never seen 3 straight evasions like that. Even 2 straight is rare and this guy Kyle did it right out the gate. I wonder if they could make a consecutive evasions highlight reel. They should celebrate these more since it is actually amazing to have that amount of stamina for three 20 second chases against three fresh chasers.
Oh boy, you just reminded me of us playing that game back in elementary school, the setting of course was much simpler, but, damn, I've played this thing myself at some point in my life!
This was a great win for HF here. They got a hand on the situation and then kept at their top game which was good. A shame that the matches were kind of dull nearer the middle but still very enjoyable to watch, eagerly awaiting Friday's match!
Y’all should have replays of key moments like of the guy running into the bar (edit: of the first time someone ran into the bar, not the guy who landed on the bar at 5:40 something)
Dale would have to be my absolute favorite from HWF. He moves so fluently and is very quick with the jukes. Enso I feel definitely needs to train hard in speed courses because they weren’t moving nearly as fast as they should be for parkour tag. If they went against either of the Seth’s or even Andy, they’d never get a point.

Hey, don't know if it was discussed already but is there any way to make these videos a bit longer? I mean you could fill the gaps with interviews or tactical team discussions or whatever during the match. Overall it would be more exciting to watch.
Some people just want to watch action so that's what we're providing with the match videos. The other stuff that you're talking about tactical discussions, match breakdowns etc. will also come over time, but we'll release them as separate videos.
I like world chase tag but in the future, id like other variations of parkour sports to exist. A parkour obstacle course that focuses on speed, difficulty of flip, and your overall flow would be so cool to me

I feel like this was not a strong match. Team Enso Movement were a bit too slow and slippery on the obstacles. I'm sure their next matches are going to be better since they got a bit of experience how the quad works. The Hollywood Freerunners did a great job exploiting the opponent's weaknesses. However I think you can notice their inexperience in evading. Well, it's only a small look into their abilities, I'm looking forward to seeing them in the quad again :D I'm loving that this sport is growing and new teams can bring new energy and try themselves out :P

Amazing athletes, but you can tell when someone has experience on the quad. A number of critical errors, luckily it's not a 1 loss tourney.

The costs ramp up significantly when you go live, but that is 100% our intention eventually. And that is what I'm MOST looking forward to.

This is the perfect sport for our generation (Gen Z) with our short attention spans. Tons of action super densely packed
