I have to say, I like them so much, I decided my shop needed to become a dealer. The minute you start riding with a filter type, it's down hill from there. The S&B will flow the same from start to finish. Simply put, simply the best.
Imo it is literally a life saver , breathing fine dust constantly will scar your lungs. Worst part is you won’t tell until your at the doctor coughing non stop for the rest of your life
Some helmets have adjustable vents themselves so you can set the separator and leave it. I set mine to about 1/2 speed and its plenty for my wife and I. At full speed it sounds like a jet engine and will blow you eyelids off.🤣
Thanks so much Frank, just purchased a commander and it has a s & b installed already. We are excited to try it on the dirtiest road we can find. I'm on oxygen and know this will help keep the air cleaner. I'll report back as soon as we get our new hoses.
The SB Particle separator works great but the hoses are way to stiff. They were hurting my neck after the first day. I got some rugged radios hoses and adapted those to work. They worked way better a lot more flexible.
The s&b helmet separator is an awesome product, but your installation suggested is incorrect.. the unit is only supposed to be mounted level, NOT at any angle.... 1:361:38
i got the separator 2 & compared to my buddies its a bit quieter & the variable speeds is good.. only bad part is that its a bit longer, more of a problem with x3 owners
What up G. Have you ever used the Mac Air? Just asking because I’ve been running this S&B helmet pumper and I’ve noticed a lot of fine dust inside my helmet. Plus it draws a lot of amperage. I’d like to know if you’d had experience with a filter type and how do they compare.
I have another question for you. How would you wire that to a Switch Pro instead of a toggle switch? Would you combine the three red and two black wires that go to the toggle switch?
Doesnt affect view of passenger that much . I switched to the rugged hoses. Fit perfect. The s & b hoses have a removable end so u can cut the hose to fit. I had not cut mine

Best pumper on the market. I have had mine for a year now and love it. Ease installation and no maintenance.
So far its been great for me aswell. I did switch out the hoses for rugged.. but the pumper is awesome

Rugged is better, but the S&B is still pretty good; either works well enough. I run the particle separator on my play car. So far so good.
I agree 100% the rugged mac has more airflow.. both sound like jet engines in the ears at full blast😅👍

You can cut off the relay relay system that the sb comes with. U only need the power and ground
I'm hoping to mount it in the same spot. Does it affect the view of the rear passengers?

I think the 4 person could do the job. But if u want maximum flow. Then u would need two kits
