It is one of my greatest honours in life to get the opportunity to write the lyrics for this IWAI NESU song. Chiwoniso had the chorus and melody and I wrote the main set of the lyrics for her for the song. Great collaborations in all her other albums. Chirikure Chirikure, Harare, 9/12/2021. We keep celebrating sister Chi.

I first heard this song when I was at school in Harare in 2003. I used to watch it on ZTV. I fell in love with it then and still listen to it now. I used to see Chiwoniso at Meikles Hotel, sometimes doped up! 😆 I've never understood the song, and even now, I don't understand the message except for the little English snippets. Loving her still.

Zimbabwe has lost a great deal of talented artists to untimely deaths. When I had about ANDY'S DEATH followed by Chiwoniso. My heart was broken into three. Still, good music is timeless. They live on through their great work.
