That's why it was a very underrated drama, but if the story is like that, there's a so-called hero who is rejected by the heroine, and he marries her forcefully just like kesi teri khudgarzi, then you see how it will break all records 😒.... Pakistanis can't digest such positive vibes drama serial like kuch ankahi ♥️.... They always want some typical saas-bahu or third-class romance on their screen.
I loved the respect that azfar showed for aliya's decision. He really loved and understood her feelings through her eyes❤. He didn't become villain like areeb

She is loved by everyone who comes into contact with her. Salman is very insecure, he is the one who is infatuated with her, not Asfar. The actor who played Salman maybe a great guy but the character he played should be a red flag to any woman.

I loved when he said that there's not enough money to buy a girl like her. I really liked azfar's character. He wanted to live alone at the start but aaliya gradually changes him. He really wanted aaliya and her family. Maybe the writer showed us that money can't buy love and good fortune.
This Drama is such a masterpiece, which gives awareness on almost every single issue, child abuse, harassment, women empowerment, rights of minorities, division of property to each family member according to shariah, and many more. I just loved it. It should be in the top of the list of 2023 dramas. Highly recommended😍❤
Its originally Hassina Moin's writing.she use to write about women empowerment and independent,strong woman. its same story of old Ankahi which was blockbuster in late 80s. Shehnaaz shaikh,shakeel and javid shaikh was brilliant in their roles. Mohammed Ahmad just rewrite it with a new touch.
I guess one would had felt bad for either Asfar or Salman because they both loved Aliya but I like the way Asfar like a gentleman let Aliya go because he knew she loved Salman. Truly great writing and storytelling, fantastic direction and awesome performance by everyone. Ending was just perfect I had smile and tears both at same time.
I've never seen an end like this where they complete the story in a fun-filled song. It's so satiating and so light-hearted. Bollywood should learn from Pakistani shows like these. Such a good way to end, I loved it!
Koi sabd nhi hai mere paas... Odisha ( India ) se hun... Kuchh Pakistani song sunta tha jo achhe lagte thhey.... Mere ek dost se baat karte karte usne suggest kiya ye series dekhne ke liye . Wese mein bahot rarely hi series dekhta hoon, 6 mahine pehle last time dekha tha. To socha ek ye try kiyajaye.... when I watched 1st episode I connected with the ambience and thought to watch 2nd one... Like wise I couldn't stop myself to watch one by one. And by the end if Two days just now Completed ✅ . Thank you ALL the CAST and CREW for presenting this true form of love . I'll be owe to this series ❤
6 months passed with the blink of an eye. Mohammed Ahmed Sir has written such a wonderful story-everything, right from the characters to their thought process, the ambience, camaraderie, and costumes are so close to reality. Doesn't feel like a work of fiction. Also, the best thing is the fact that the characters are not flawless. Only Thanvi can be probably called the perfect person. As the story is coming to an end, every one is eventually getting a closure, including Shagufta. Initially, Shagufta gave me the creeps. But her conversation with her Abba was finally pleasing. Minimal dialogues are the USP of this story. For instance, how Samiya understood what might have led Aliya to type out that resignation letter. And these terrace scenes act like the cherry on the cake. With the finale episode left, Saturdays will never be this special any more. Looking forward to Ahmed Sir and Nadeem Baig to collaborate again and help us witness magic.

There was a lot of 'social reform' packed into this one without it feeling like a sermon. Kudos to the entire team. Loved 'Phuppho'! Each character was fleshed out believably and intelligently. Some loose strings - but then, that is also as per real life. Congratulations to the entire team!
We still didn’t get enough of Salman- Aliya, The arc of Taniya- Shakeel, The evolve of Samiya- Saifur Rehman's relationship and so on. You guys really should bring season 2 of ' Kuch Ankahi'! 😩💗
Would love to see how the chemistry between Sofia and Thanvi evolves. Had it been an Indian serial Asfar Would have become the villain and would start making others life miserable. Also always loved Shakeel's presence. Always so supportive. Would definitely want to see Kuch Ankahi 2.

I love how non-toxic this serial remained the entire storyline. No unnecessary drag, simple storylines highlighting very common issues in a very light hearted way. Loved every episode of this drama ❤

Deeply feel sorry for Asfar. He understood Alia the most he could even read her eyes. Moreover he was never a negative character. He truly loved her. He deserved alia more tbh. Hope to see Sheheryar and Sajal together as leads on a future drama.
Yes! The way Asfar talked about Aliya with Salman its priceless. Salman was ridiculously talking about Aliya. Kharidna chahta, kharido ge this & that. But Asfar ne to usse anmol kaha. Kiya rich ppl dont fall in love truly,deeply, madly? Obviously they fall. And in my view Asfar deeply love Aliya & respect her &her decisions too more than Salman. He misunderstand her, hurt Her feelings. But idk y log ziyada pasand karte hai aise banda. Do log love ke siwa zindegi guzar sakti hai but Trust &Respect ke bina nei.

No even a single moment was shown of Aaliya understanding to make the choice.
Ending is beyond expectations !!! It's a masterpiece. The song visuals are so mesmerising ! It is of next level. Just like a movie song with beautiful shots. I am still watching it repeatedly , can't come out with the fantasy. The house, the roof looks stunning with lights and typical pakistani weddings. So well decorated , people are going to copy because the environment looks so peaceful and I m out of words for every bit of this song and visuals. We want sesaon 2 , with same Sajjal and Bilal pairing.
When the last line of the song was echoing "jag saara phir ke dil haara tujh pe" and Asfar's scene was shown, it broke my heart. He had let go of Aliya so decently. I was enjoying the song until I saw Asfar's part bcoz somewhere in life even I'd be an Asfar in somebody's story.

There is a very strong message behind when showing a muslim family taking so much care of the hindu maid and her children..hats off to the writer for having thought of this concept..it could have also been vice versa..thumbs up for everyone who have understood the message..❤

Sehrish & Asfar were absolute heartthrobs in the drama. Sehrish was so poised, graceful, and glamorous in her role while Asfar was a drop-dead hunk from the Elite class who was Cold and Cool at the same time. Would love to add Shagufta with her gorgeous eyes and Mischievous smile and Maid Meena looking utterly beautiful in her sarees to the above list. Good Humorous drama but in Samia and Phuphos case it became a drag with unnecessary stretch on their marriage saga, which freaked me out. Rest other characters and roles were entertaining. with spl mention to Deepaks role.
Since Salman was in the title poster and not Afzar, I knew from the beginning that Aliya would end up with Salman but still my heart broke into a million pieces in the last shot of Azfar. I really liked the uniqueness of this love triangle that unlike our usual dramas, both love interests were positive and the audience had a hard time choosing a side. In addition to the love triangle, the drama had many beautiful aspects, the cast, the acting, the family bond, the light comedy, the music and the subtle social messages. The credit goes to the whole team but especially to the writer, director, cast and producers. Thank you Kashf foundation for bringing such a beautiful drama come to life which gave social messages in a lighthearted way. A big round of applause for you all!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I never liked Salman at all. There was nothing positive about him at all. The only thing is that he helped out her family at home. All the while he talked bad about her. Even today, he thought she could be bought, smh. He is a good looking actor but the character he played was not that impressive at all.

The way I see Salman, sure he became a bit annoying when he kept pressing Aliya to respond to his love declaration but most of what he said about her and to her came out of his own insecurities and jealousy. He kept thinking that since she's not giving a clear positive answer to his affection, he might never be able to marry her. This is my perspective. The beautiful thing about this drama is that every character has some flaws, no one is perfect.
@@1RosalindBestinsecurity isn’t always bad if it’s kept to healthy boundaries. If you think about it you only get insecure or jealous for your loved ones. We all get a bit insecure for the people we love. What makes a difference is how we respond to that feeling. As far as salman is related I think he handled it well because it’s not always easy to stay in your boundaries and make sense to the other person when you know that they might be interested in someone else and you might never get a chance with them. Keeping myself in that position I would get a bit insecure too if I never got a clear sign. Salman gave her an open choice and she chose him without any pressure and it’s beautiful to me. For me they kept the emotions real and didn’t exclude all that insecurity part to please the audience because it’s really not real and that’s why I loved the drama ❤
After an ages , we came to see a real family drama with a lot of messages and positivities. There was comedy and romance without vulgarity. This drama revived old ptv dramas story lines and direction. Need more of such stories

For me, the real hero was ASFAR, because he really respected Aliya. His conversations with Aliya always use aap," not tum or tu. As soon as he realized that Aliya loved Slaman, he accepted it wholeheartedly. He even told Aliya that Slaman is a good person. Above all, when Slaman said that you bought aliya, he mentioned that aliya is not for sale and no one can buy aliya.
Reminds me so much of Indian traditions around marriage, the rituals, dancing. No words to compliment the makers of this masterpiece. The subtle, respectful portrayal of love: every single scene was just perfect, synchronised. Thank you makers

It catered every age group story, their struggles, their issues and the best thing is everyone can relate to each of the characters. The best thing which makes this drama outclass from its competitors is, it's a family drama which is suitable for all❤️. Even if they are showing love story, that's on a good note. No drama, no rebellious acts, and depicted the maturity. I really suggest everyone to watch this drama because you will end up learning something from it rather than it leaves negative impacts on you.

I have never felt so happy and satisfied after watching a drama as i am after this . The family that is portrayed is a dream. Alia's character and personality as a girl, samiya's strength and sensibility ,tania's bravery , phupho's character and agha sab as a father is incredible . Salman is such a perfect partner a good man and I am so happy for them.
A few months late to all the hype but I'm so glad I watched this drama. Every single character had a good arc and solid ending and I loved how no one was truly the hero or the villain. Everyone got their happy ending.

Seems like a few days ago i started watching kuch ankahi now it’s ended.kuch ankahi is an amalgamation of love,fun, emotion and family bonding.Thank you so much nadeem baig and Mohammad Ahmed for bringing such fresh content and not running behind to get high trps and views.There are few things might be exaggerated but the way you guys addressed so many stereotypes breaking issues in a warranted way it’s beyond appreciation.Kuch ankahi always remain in my mind like a fresh flowers. The conversation between Phupho & Babar Ali was so beautiful. Described what love is all about. Also, when Aliya expresses her love for Salman without saying it in words. no hugs, no intimacy, but the way Pakistani dramas show love is so amazing. great dialogues that need no unwanted actions. and actors reflect everything with eyes. Urdu is a beautiful language. Love from India. I hope Pakistani dramas just stay the way they are.

Season 2 please?! What an amazing drama. No extra nonsense ....every character was shown somewhere flawed ...no one was the perfect hero or villain. Perfect story of how middle class families deal with things and problems ....every character had an amazing character development by the end of it ....social issues raised very well. But we need more of Salman and Aaliya scenes ❤, hoping for season 2 !
As expected, Azfar is the star of the aliya-Salman love story❤😊😊 How dignified he was in his interaction with both of them❤ Remarkable transformation in him. And, Mr. Salman on the other hand, 'Maa ne kaha hai ring pehna do'😂 kya aadmi hai😀 The best part of the drama is that the writer showed every character in a positive light in the end, very rare to see, so full marks to Mohammad Sahab. Phuppo was looking so lovely. Infact, babar Ali's commitment towards Phuppo was way more interesting than salman aliya's story. Overall, good ending.

Its originally Hassina Moin's writing.she use to write about women empowerment and independent,strong woman. its same story of old Ankahi which was blockbuster in late 80s. Shehnaaz shaikh,shakeel and javid shaikh was brilliant in their roles. Mohammed Ahmad just rewrite it with a new touch.

I guess one would had felt bad for either Asfar or Salman because they both loved Aliya but I like the way Asfar like a gentleman let Aliya go because he knew she loved Salman. Truly great writing and storytelling, fantastic direction and awesome performance by everyone. Ending was just perfect I had smile and tears both at same time.

I've never seen an end like this where they complete the story in a fun-filled song. It's so satiating and so light-hearted. Bollywood should learn from Pakistani shows like these. Such a good way to end, I loved it!

6 months passed with the blink of an eye. Mohammed Ahmed Sir has written such a wonderful story-everything, right from the characters to their thought process, the ambience, camaraderie, and costumes are so close to reality. Doesn't feel like a work of fiction. Also, the best thing is the fact that the characters are not flawless. Only Thanvi can be probably called the perfect person. As the story is coming to an end, every one is eventually getting a closure, including Shagufta. Initially, Shagufta gave me the creeps. But her conversation with her Abba was finally pleasing. Minimal dialogues are the USP of this story. For instance, how Samiya understood what might have led Aliya to type out that resignation letter. And these terrace scenes act like the cherry on the cake. With the finale episode left, Saturdays will never be this special any more.
Looking forward to Ahmed Sir and Nadeem Baig to collaborate again and help us witness magic.

Ending is beyond expectations !!! It's a masterpiece. The song visuals are so mesmerising ! It is of next level. Just like a movie song with beautiful shots. I am still watching it repeatedly , can't come out with the fantasy. The house, the roof looks stunning with lights and typical pakistani weddings. So well decorated , people are going to copy because the environment looks so peaceful and I m out of words for every bit of this song and visuals. We want sesaon 2 , with same Sajjal and Bilal pairing.

Sehrish was so poised, graceful, and glamorous in her role while Asfar was a drop-dead hunk from the Elite class who was Cold and Cool at the same time.
Would love to add Shagufta with her gorgeous eyes and Mischievous smile and Maid Meena looking utterly beautiful in her sarees to the above list.
Good Humorous drama but in Samia and Phuphos case it became a drag with unnecessary stretch on their marriage saga, which freaked me out. Rest other characters and roles were entertaining. with spl mention to Deepaks role.

Since Salman was in the title poster and not Afzar, I knew from the beginning that Aliya would end up with Salman but still my heart broke into a million pieces in the last shot of Azfar. I really liked the uniqueness of this love triangle that unlike our usual dramas, both love interests were positive and the audience had a hard time choosing a side. In addition to the love triangle, the drama had many beautiful aspects, the cast, the acting, the family bond, the light comedy, the music and the subtle social messages. The credit goes to the whole team but especially to the writer, director, cast and producers. I never liked Salman at all. There was nothing positive about him at all. The only thing is that he helped out her family at home. All the while he talked bad about her. Even today, he thought she could be bought, smh. He is a good looking actor but the character he played was not that impressive at all.

The way I see Salman, sure he became a bit annoying when he kept pressing Aliya to respond to his love declaration but most of what he said about her and to her came out of his own insecurities and jealousy. He kept thinking that since she's not giving a clear positive answer to his affection, he might never be able to marry her. This is my perspective. The beautiful thing about this drama is that every character has some flaws, no one is perfect.

We all get a bit insecure for the people we love. What makes a difference is how we respond to that feeling. As far as salman is related I think he handled it well because it’s not always easy to stay in your boundaries and make sense to the other person when you know that they might be interested in someone else and you might never get a chance with them. Keeping myself in that position I would get a bit insecure too if I never got a clear sign. Salman gave her an open choice and she chose him without any pressure and it’s beautiful to me. For me they kept the emotions real and didn’t exclude all that insecurity part to please the audience because it’s really not real and that’s why I loved the drama ❤

For me, the real hero was ASFAR, because he really respected Aliya. His conversations with Aliya always use aap," not tum or tu. As soon as he realized that Aliya loved Slaman, he accepted it wholeheartedly. He even told Aliya that Slaman is a good person. Above all, when Slaman said that you bought aliya, he mentioned that aliya is not for sale and no one can buy aliya.
Reminds me so much of Indian traditions around marriage, the rituals, dancing. No words to compliment the makers of this masterpiece. The subtle, respectful portrayal of love: every single scene was just perfect, synchronised. Thank you makers

It catered every age group story, their struggles, their issues and the best thing is everyone can relate to each of the characters. The best thing which makes this drama outclass from its competitors is, it's a family drama which is suitable for all❤️. Even if they are showing love story, that's on a good note. No drama, no rebellious acts, and depicted the maturity. I really suggest everyone to watch this drama because you will end up learning something from it rather than it leaves negative impacts on you.

I have never felt so happy and satisfied after watching a drama as i am after this . The family that is portrayed is a dream. Alia's character and personality as a girl, samiya's strength and sensibility ,tania's bravery , phupho's character and agha sab as a father is incredible . Salman is such a perfect partner a good man and I am so happy for them.

Season 2 please?! What an amazing drama. No extra nonsense ....every character was shown somewhere flawed ...no one was the perfect hero or villain. Perfect story of how middle class families deal with things and problems ....every character had an amazing character development by the end of it ....social issues raised very well. But we need more of Salman and Aaliya scenes ❤, hoping for season 2 !
