This is an excellent guide. I'm new to the game as of 1.0 but have played some Tarkov in the past. I hope the algorithm picks this up for you as it really is well written and thought out, and goes into just the right amount of depth.
Thank you, I'm glad you found the guide so helpful :) As a tarkov player I'm sure you'll love the game as there's a lot of references (at least boss and map wise) to tarkov
I think rifle preset is just objectively best choice, because it's the most versatile, and also because main questline will give you guaranteed Mosin sniper pretty early, and if i remember another one will give you an attachment of your choice, which you of course should choose fitting scope for it.
Rifle is definitely a solid choice and would be my second go-to if it wasn't for the fact that getting that early scoped mosin lets you win fights while taking 0 damage without much effort. It really helps with your early economy since you don't need to buy meds or repair your armor. I usually grab the mosin and go right for the first army/crimson squad I see to immediately get mid-game gear. Only downside is if I wanted a rifle, I'd have to either scavenge one that won't be repairable for some time (until I can afford the repair kits) or shell out for a stock rifle from barman. Honestly though you could go either way as you pointed out; start rifle and get a mosin from the early quest reward, or start mosin and get a rifle from the early quest rewards/scavenge one
As you level you'll see those perks (eg. when you hit lv1), I think you unlock different sets of perks at level 5, but can still pick the previous tier perks.
I think you my friend have a slight orange color blindness. the fire crystals are red and each hunger, thirst, radiation indicator has an orange state between yellow and red.
This is the actual, in depth guide I needed when I started Zero Sievert! 👍👍
Glad you found it helpful :)

I have been playing the game for a few days now. I was waiting for such a detailed guide like this. Thank you!
You're welcome :)

@@yewnitedgamingyou should never start with anything drop the starting gear and go with nothing for harder start
This is actually the best zero sievert guide I've watched, thank you and you got yourself a new subscriber!

11:28 how do yoy have those skills I don't know why I don't have them but can you help me??

Great video, thank you. I accidently killed Igor, will he ever respawn?
Unfortunately no he won't, but without spoiling too much there *are* incentives to killing him later in the game

I don't think I'm colorblind, just dumb. You're right, I completely missed the orange state for the status bar. Thanks for pointing that out lol
