Back in 1998, I took a road trip to Glacier from SoCal with my girlfriend at the time, and we stayed overnight in Waterton on the Canadian side. The visuals bring back memories!
Tu me rappelles mon professeur de français qui est revenu en France après des années au Texas. I’m happy to write a letter for your application as a friend should you decide to come to the USA. Those are required and beneficial and I can vouch you are American at heart. Bless you.
This is a wonderful idea, Marie! I hope you can find a way to live in the US at least for a while! But, if you’re serious - do it while you’re still young, before you accumulate a bunch of stuff!! It’s too difficult to be mobile when you have a lot of possessions to store or pets to care for. We visited Glacier with family several years ago, when their children were still young, and I am still thankful for the experience! I don’t blame you for wanting to return for more of that experience! Good luck in your continuing journey of discovery!
Well then. In my 9 years as a US Cross Country truck driver, I thought I'd been everywhere and seen everything. Wow!!! I din't never seen nuttin' like THAT. Marie, thanks for sharing your adventures! So glad you're enjoying what America has to offer to a "Nature Nut". 🤣 BTW: Squirrels around this time of year with "round bellies"? They're pregnant girl squirrels. Go girl squirrels!!!
Been there twice - those pictures made me go "I was there. I was there". I think it's called the jewel of our National Park System - something like that since it's so take-your-breath-away beautiful. I think it's one of the best places in the entire US.
Glacier is a nonstop feast of the eyes. As someone who grew up in the edge of the prairie in the midwest and got my first Rocky Mountain experience when I was an older teenager, the mountains have always had the ability to cause me to stand, speechless, just amazed at the grandeur and beauty.
I’m glad you enjoyed Glacier National Park in Montana I Absolutely love Montana it’s so Beautiful thank you so much for sharing this video i also love the music that you add to your videos I Absolutely loved this video 👏🏾
I have no words to properly describe how beautiful that park is! I've never seen any scenery quite like it and it's been on my bucket list even since I first saw pictures from the Sun Road. 😍It's also so heartwarming whenever you talk about how much you love being in the states. I'm glad you've had such great experiences with the people and places here, and I hope you continue to have many more!
Another amazing video. Now with your park passport book, you have a " BUCKET LIST " that you can follow and get all your stamps. 😊 Travel while you are still young and enjoy every moment of life along the way. When you get older you will find it much harder to travel as life does catch up with you. Have fun and stay safe. 🤠
Bonjour Marie! Yes, I'm sure there were others, but I called it...I posted a comment quite some time ago that perhaps you might consider moving to the US for a few years and seeing how it goes (you had said in an earlier video that you didn't think you'd want to leave your family,) but I thought that once you really started to get a sense of the diversity and majesty in the US (and Canada for that matter,) that you might see the benefits of living here at least for a few years, travel around, seeing SO many different places...and then who knows what you'd do or where you'd go from there. I hope that you are doing well, and thank you for sharing all of your amazing travels and more with all of us. Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
The world is definitely your oyster in this stage of your life. You have spread your wings and are now flying! I can tell that you have found a special place in North America, so if this is something that your heart is telling you to do, then I say go for it! It's amazing to see how much you have evolved throughout this journey. Cheers! 🍻 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 ✈️ 🌎
Here's a better idea: We set up an adult foreign exchange program. People from France can come stay here in one of our houses for six months and we go live in France for six months. We trade off and all help each other out.
Your shots of the magnificent Glacier landscape nearly brought me to tears! Some of the images were nearly identical to photos I took when I visited the park in the mid-1980s. Seeing them reminded me of how much I'd like to go there again and, just once more before I die, immerse myself in the Rocky Mountain landscape.
Absolutely stunning views. This video needs to be seen on a big screen, not a phone! I completely understand why you want to live there, Marie. It’s so beautiful.
That is a beautiful place. I think you would enjoy living there. You made a special friend there, the ground squirrel. I think he was saying please stay. 😊
Welcome to another section of the 🇺🇸 that embodies the essence of nature's beauty. It's not surprising you are fascinated by the luxury of the land. I actually fell in love with the Bourgogne region in France...maybe because of its natural sereneness. I have seen a number of glacial parks and the natural beauty of my homeland. The intrigue of someplace new is so exciting. Happy continued travels.
Your love for the United States is not confined to you. I was 7 yrs old when I realized I wanted to move to the USA thru my hero, actor Sidney Poitier. I'm forever grateful that I made it. I love these United States unconditionally. Many of you born & raised in the USA, never lived outside the country will never understand how lucky you got it.
Hi Marie. Beautiful photography. Nice hat for your collection. Hope you have a safe and restful holiday season. Can't wait for the next episode of your adventures
So glad you got to do a Red Bus tour. I know I’ve commented about that on your last 3 videos 😊. Glacier NP is stunning and Montana is beautiful, the downside being short summers and long winters. Wyoming is also very nice with great national parks as well.
I've been saying it... American at heart. French-American of course ;). Thanks for honoring the fallen soldiers (it's what brought me here). One of us, one of us, one of us!
I will also say, that hearing you talk - i imagine the "I am home" is what many europeans who would become American said when they settled this area. Not sure if this is part of the Louisiana Purchase - but if so, it was French land once upon a time haha
Hello again! Another fun adventure with Marie. Seeing these wonders for the First Time is always special. The second, third & fourth are still pretty spectacular, but you know what I mean. There's only one First. Best Wishes, Always.
Hopefully you can go to Yellowstone park. I have always wanted to go there, but never could! Glad to see you see the USA and realize that we are not all the same.. lots of culture here. We are a young country, but people forget that before we were the USA we were settled by the French, Spanish and British.. and have the Native Americans here long before then!!
Thank you for the wonderful content and amazing footage of Glacier National Park! Your love of the outdoors is great & infectious. Looking forward to more. America is such a vast beautiful country to explore. I can understand your interest in coming to stay with us. You arr most welcome! 😊 Always excited for your next adventure. Lovin the new cap!!! Take care & safe travels!!!
Bonjour Marie, the word that kept coming to me while watching this video was "Wow". From seeing your beautiful face at 0:25 thru the rest of the video was gorgeous. If I have a vote as to whether you come to live in America, it is a definite yes. I don't know how you do it, but each video seems a bit better than the one before. It's amazing how beautiful this video was.
The drivers are called Jammers not the buses. Back in 36- into the late 80s they had manual transmissions and the drivers would be heard double clutching and grinding the gears going up and down the Going to the sun road. So they acquired the nick name gear jammers/Jammers. Peace
Stunning visuals! Jaw dropping, eye watering! If you do decide to live here, Marie, and stay only until you get sick of all this glory, we may be keeping you for a very long time! You are most welcome to do so.
I'm sure someone told you Montana means mountainous. I believe it's our 4th largest state and one of the least populated. You can go off the grid into the forest whenever you want to and disappear with Bigfoot and the Mothman. On the down side, it's easy to get snowed in during Winter. Montana winters are unforgiving. Gorgeous countryside though.
I live in Calgary and Montana is my favourite state too! I like almost all of the states I've visited but the people in Montana are so humble and friendly and down to earth! It is sad that many people from eastern North America think there is nothing to see or learn in the West. It is their loss to turn their nose up at the best part of the continent. 👍😎😮💖
I've taken that bus and you do see a lot more when not driving yourself. That road is probably not a lot more beautiful than many roads in the Alps, but it's quite remote and you do have wildlife.
Hi there from Loveland Co. You say you want to "move" to the states. Before you pick a state to move to my suggestion is to look at the US map and see where you can do the most once you get here. Colorado has RMNP (Rocky Mountain National Park) as well as much more diverse landscape you can see in a day than you could in any other. I'd say write down pros & cons about each state you'd like to live in and go from there.
You would like Colorado because they are socialist like you. Montana is more conservative. I have lived in both states and for the past 30 years in Montana. All French people are welcome here!
OMG! That was so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your experience in Montana. Montana and a Mustang, yes dreams do come true. If you like nature you should watch some of the people who have camping and hiking channels on TH-cam. Stay well and be safe.
I'm so happy you got to see Glacier! My family and I first drove through Glacier National Park in the late 1970's.... It was very much more "wild" with fewer amenities then, and MUCH less of that stone wall along the road. That was a narrower and SCARY road to drive - but what fantastic views! I took that drive again in the early 00's, and remember a bear ambling through the parking lot... with most tourists keeping their distance (because it's a BEAR!), and there's always a few the Rangers have to tell them NOT to get close to the bear, and stay in their car. I look forward to your next adventure!
Yeah Marie. I for one would be honored if you moved to the US. I have been to Glacier, it's gorgeous. The nature is beautiful there. But. Don't forget. You really need to see more of Oregon and Washington which are absolutely gorgeous also. Don't forget. Hopefully, you will be able to bring your mother, and father, one of these times also. I would love to hear, and or see, what they think of your trips in the US. :-)
I last drove the Going To The Sun Highway nearly 50 years ago. I camped at a place called Camp Napi near St. Marys Lake and Babb Lake. I almost never saw anyone else. Much different than it is today. I camped in that area several times between 1969 and 1974 but I haven’t been there since.
Going to the Sun Road has absolutely gorgeous scenery. I went on the boardwalk up to Hidden Lake. I met a marmot along the way; a cool mammal, like a groundhog.
Miss Marie...We will welcome you with open arms!...and vouch for you! Montana is beautiful, if you move there you may have to get a Jeep, or a Subaru, not a Mustang...they get a "little" snow up there🙂
Yes! This is the one I was hoping for. I didn't want you to visit Glacier without experiencing the Going-to-the-Sun road. It's one of the most spectacular drives in the U.S. If you move here, what kind of a car will you get? :)
If you move here, Bozeman is the best place, lived there for years. Best skiing, fishing, dog friendly, ...expensive. But it's a college town so there is plenty to do on the cheap, and if you live a bit out of town rent is not bad at all.
Im a native Montanan....I tell people who ask where I was born when Im in Bozeman...I tell them I was born in a town that no longer exists.... they ask wheres that and my answer is Bozeman ...the Montanans get it....the new folks are perplexed.....but its true they killed one of the best parts of our state before my eyes ...its a shame.....also I live near Pony....and the best bar in the area, including Three Forks is the Frontier....get a burger
Im 30 miles away from Glacier Park. It's cool seeing an outside perspective. I spent many weekends up there growing up. I even worked up there for a season.
I'd love to have you here. That said, as someone who grew up in a VERY cold part of the country, a place only a few Europeans can relate to, temperature wise, your vlog is from August. Montana is also one of the coldest places in the country in the winter. Twenty below zero, Fahrenheit, is not at all uncommon, nor is thirty below zero, and then there's the windchill.
I was a N PS Park Ranger there in 2004. Even though I have left, it has never left me. Seeing your video brought back vivid memories of hikes, campfire talks, boat tours, and just having fun with friends that I lead and experienced there. So glad you loved it too!
Next time you visit you need to camp deep in the caves of Yellowstone. I'll show you where the back trails are. I worked there 4 summers. See everything from Wolves to Grizzlies. Absolute untouched nature!
Very Very beautiful Logan Pass and at 9:08 a grey Mustang (of course). Montana with green forest and big mountain...Original red Bus too.Great video..🌲🌲🌲🌲
This is my father's favorite national park in the USA. He loves it. I think it is beautiful, too. But my favorite national park is Isle Royale in Lake Superior. It's been fascinating, watching you explore New France. If you move here, consider getting a job with the National Park Service.
Je suis si heureuse que vous ayez rechule passport du parc. Vous etes desormais incite d effectuer de nombreuses visites. I am sure I botched the French but happy you received your passport and Hopefully you will fill it up with more visits.
Had one of my favorite National Park experiences at Logan Point. Got there late in the day after 7:00 PM and there were very few cars around. Walked around for about an hour later and it was starting to get dark. To my surprise in the parking lot was a herd of Big Horn sheep maybe 10-15 animals licking the ground. A short time later a ranger showed and chased the sheep off. They retreated to a little just off the parking lot and waited. The ranger backed off a bit and the sheep came back down. The ranger chased them off again. This went on for over 30 minutes before I called it quits and left the ranger to his battle with the sheep. Not sure who won.
O ---- M ---- G! The scenery is unbelievable. Thank you so much for taking us along so to speak. BTW, 2 of the 5 EU TH-camrs I follow (you are one) have recently moved to the USA. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this. It is one of my greatest experiences driving on that road.Spectacular! I recall almost having my car pushed from the waterfalls...def need to get back there. The best National Park in the Country.n I was there on the 4th of July many years ago, and the lodge at Logan Pass was still completely buried under snow. All you could see were flags marking the buildings. It was crazy.
Marie, I'm so glad you got to get up there in a way that allowed you to focus more on the scenery and less on having to stay on the road! I drove a Jeep Wrangler up there with the top down and the doors off. It was awesome. I fully understand your desire to live in Montana given that you have always commented that you belong in the mountains. The benefit for you is that the Rocky Mountain Range has a lot to offer you in terms of places to see and experience. In Colorado there's a very challenging road to drive called Imogene Pass that has fantastic views and will certainly give you a thrill (and possibly scare you a bit too). Perhaps you can find someone with a good 4x4 that will let you tag along as they drive the road. You'd absolutely love it. I love that you have a National Parks Passport now and will start collecting the stamps! It's a lot of fun to flip through the pages after years of getting those stamps and remembering all the awesome adventures. I hope you're having a great day Marie, and Keep Smiling!
What a beautiful place! Love that you have a passport book! My sister and I got ours a few years ago and as we live in Maryland we have a bunch of stamps from around the area (some places we will have to revisit 😁). You will have tons of fun looking back and remembering all the places you've visited.
As soon as I figured out you were going to Montana and GNP, I knew you'd never want to leave. It has that effect on nearly everybody. Its my favorite NP and Ive been to at least 40 of them and although its crazy busy in the few short months the GTTS Road is open, its a bucket list item.
Tu devrais aussi considérer le Canada Marie. Je veux pas commencer à comparer les 2 pays, mais on parle Français ici. ;) Fais un TH-cam live sur le sujet peut-être.
Glacier National Park is my favorite and most beautiful place I've ever been....I live in Buffalo, NY but discovered Glacier in 2008 when I started hiking....I spent 175 nights here between 2008 and 2018...so, about 17 nights per year...I car camped (tent) and hiked in the park every day (generally 10-15 miles per day with an average of about 2,000 feet of elevation gain/loss)...there are so many amazing trails at Glacier...I'd say I did 15-20 different trails that were spectacular...6 in the Many Glacier area, where I generally spent about 10 nights each year....after Many Glacier, Sperry (hike in) Chalet was my favorite place to stay and hike ....also great trails in Two Medicine area and from Logan Pass...there aren't as many good hikes on the West side of the Park....I'm glad you appreciated this special place!
Montana is one of my favorite states also. Just keep in mind, it's doubtful you'll like the winters. I have thoughts of moving to Montana, but then sometimes I think to myself to just keep it as a place to vacation.
Marie...I am so glad you love Montana and would even consider moving there. Keep in mind you need to see some of the Great Lakes too! Please come to the state of MICHIGAN and you can see 4 of the 5 Great Lakes! They are SO HUGE that if you stand on the beach you will think you are looking out at the Atlantic Ocean!! There is a Lot of Natural Beauty in Michigan too! Please come someday!!😃
Not that you need the opinion of some random guy on the internet: but don't rush into moving. But I can certainly see why you would. If I might suggest a phrase: I think you want to start a new chapter in your life. A chapter, you might start on the "patt-ee-oh". :) I'm looking forward to seeing the next part of your journey through the Rockies. (It took me a second to recognize what you meant by "pay-she-oh". Although, I think I'm starting to understand why English can be rather hard.)
Beautiful videos of Glacier. Along with the first indigenous populations the French are considered to be among the first people to explore those lands ..... so its part of your own nation's heritage. The first white men to set foot in what is now Montana were almost undoubtedly French trappers during the late 1600s or early 1700s. We have no record for sure, but French explorers had reached the upper Missouri by the 1680s, and French voyageurs traveled widely across the Northern plains.
I’m not sure if you’ve been to Colorado but it’s my favorite state. Definitely the most beautiful mountains and scenery in my opinion. Winters aren’t quite as cold and long as Montana. Lots of amazing hiking trails in the mountains, ski resorts, lakes, etc. worth checking out if you haven’t been. Lake Powell in Utah is also a must see.
Wow what a great video!! Such beautiful scenery! I'm very envious and can't wait to see Glacier National Park someday! I haven't skied Whitefish yet either - I have to do that! Thanks for the great video! :0) 🐺
Back in 1998, I took a road trip to Glacier from SoCal with my girlfriend at the time, and we stayed overnight in Waterton on the Canadian side. The visuals bring back memories!
Montana is gorgeous and you look great in your Montana hat❤

Yup, and ruin it by removing most of it's beautiful landscape to build your multimillion dollar homes.
I’m glad you enjoyed Glacier National Park in Montana I Absolutely love Montana it’s so Beautiful thank you so much for sharing this video i also love the music that you add to your videos I Absolutely loved this video 👏🏾
Another beautiful video of some stunning scenery. Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us.

Simply stunning scenery Marie, thank you. I definitely need to take a vacation trip there.
In Alabama we have cricks.
In Montana there are creeks. Creeks are prettier.

Mustang, of course
Gotta be a Mustang!
MUSTANG
@@FrenchTasticExplorations No get a toyota, Mustangs aren't reliable haha
She'll get a Ford Mustang. Hopefully a vintage Fastback.
Trust your instincts Marie!
Yay, glad you had a good time. Next time Start in Bozeman, then West Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Must hit Pony Bar.
Marie, Your close friends can come visit you in the US if you move. ❤👍 I'm sure they would love to have a friend show them around, yes?
Next time you visit you
need to camp deep in the caves of Yellowstone.
Beautiful. When I was in Glacier National Park the Going to the Sun Road was still closed due to snow. It was still spectacular.
Reminded me of the scene in "The Hunt for Red October" line quoted " I would have liked to have seen Montana". Good watch 😊
Not there since the late '90s. So many memories.
Your lodging is incredible !
What a beautiful place! Love that you have a passport book! My sister and I got ours a few years ago and as we live in Maryland we have a bunch of stamps from around the area (some places we will have to revisit 😁). You will have tons of fun looking back and remembering all the places you've visited.
Adorable young lady ✌️❤️🇺🇲
It is a magnificent place.
Thanks Marie!
Montana is one of my favorite states also. Just keep in mind, it's doubtful you'll like the winters. I have thoughts of moving to Montana, but then sometimes I think to myself to just keep it as a place to vacation.
Great video! Such beautiful footage. You do a wonderful job with your filming and your editing!
Great choice of musical accompanyment compliment to the visuals
If you move just prepare to stay lol. So much to explore it will take you forever.
North America would be glad to have you as a resident Marie. ❤
I grew up in Georgia and moved to Montana in 2019. I dont think i will ever leave. It is amazing. But please consider the 6 months of winter
10 months of!
Not that you need the opinion of some random guy on the internet: but don't rush into moving. But I can certainly see why you would.
If I might suggest a phrase: I think you want to start a new chapter in your life. A chapter, you might start on the "patt-ee-oh". :)
I'm looking forward to seeing the next part of your journey through the Rockies.
(It took me a second to recognize what you meant by "pay-she-oh". Although, I think I'm starting to understand why English can be rather hard.)
What a beautiful video 👍🏻😘
We would be happy for you to move here.
Wow what a great video!! Such beautiful scenery! I'm very envious and can't wait to see Glacier National Park someday! I haven't skied Whitefish yet either - I have to do that! Thanks for the great video! :0) 🐺
Have you seen any wintertime in Montana. It can get really rough
Western Montana = a lot of snow, long winter.
I left Ohio 20 years ago, found a nice small town in Montana, I am never leaving. No traffic lights in my world. None, zero, not 1 in my county.
