Alistair was my favorite male character in DA:O, such a memorable character. In a lot of rpgs it's hard to find that humorous character that is still serious when need be and doesn't come across as a juvenile/caricatured character, but Alistair rode that line perfectly thanks to the excellent writing and voice work.
I just discovered Origins (been meaning to get to it for a while) and I have to say, Alistair feels incredibly ... real. Like, he just seems like a real person and not just a character and is probably my favorite DA character now.
Can't believe he doesn't know his own quotes! I know he must work/read quite a bit, but still, Alistair is legendary. Nothing is as iconic as "have you licked a lamppost in winter?".

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this man at the airport once, and he is such a sweetheart. He took a picture with me, and we even chatted for a minute, it was great and I will never forget it.
I love how Morrigan once said she didn't understand how anyone could listen to Alistair talk, or something to that effect, when I'm just sitting there enjoying listening to his voice.

I love Steve Valentine!!! His character "Nigel" was my favourite in "Crossing Jordan" when I was a lot younger. I love Steve Valentine, I love Alistair Theirin-- I just reaaally love Dragon Age. Each little thing like this just hypes me right back up, oh my god.

I just finished oh, a couple hundred hours of Dragon Age, and it's incredible hearing that voice and seeing the actual person it comes from ;) I'm not surprised that people know it's Allister, just from the voice - and yes, swooping is bad :)

Awakening is just a dlc/add on not a full game it is part of origins so he doesn't have to say it.
