If it will help LaPorta heal going into all the divisional games, let him sit and recover. The Lions should be strong enough to beat Jacksonville without him.
Underestimating? No... but being real about the teams on the schedule is probably wise. The Lions are a strong team without LaPorta. It's is important to get him healthy for the more difficult games coming up. All good teams do this, they sit a player to get them healthy when they can. Do you think risking greater injury to LaPorta is a good decision considering they are playing a 2-9 team fielding their backup QB at Ford Field. I sure don't. But everybody has an opinion.
I had an AC joint sprain from Brazilian jiujitsu. I ended up taking like a week off of training and sparring and that thing bothered me for like a month after I came back. Would hurt to do push-ups, To frame against people. Eventually over time it pretty much just healed but it definitely would get reaggravated with contact.
We have a few off weeks that he can take some time to get healthy to be honest. I dont see Jags Colts or Bears giving us much trouble. Take the rest of November off and see where we are at leading up to green bay.
Yes, let Sam weapon-man LaPorta heal up, for his safety. And ensuring his ability to play at 💯% in important upcoming games. Especially the playoffs. 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼 🏆👈 #ONE_PRIDE_NATION@313 #ALL_GRIT!💯💪🏼💪🏼 👑 #LETS_GO_LIONS!💙🦁🏈
The Lions are playing the jags will be okay, let Laporta get healthy

They should be strong enough to win the next 3 without him. Let that man heal he hasn't been healthy all season.
I love Laporta, but Brock Wright and Zylstra are dawgs
They F with eachother HEAVY too!!
We have a deep TE room!
Good advise..let the tendons and ligaments heal up...2-3 weeks depending on degree of sprain.
I wish people would quit underestimating these NFL teams. Any week we can lose a game.
I know that’s what I’m thinking!!! That would be the jags superbowl they need to 🤫
Any given Sunday.
Yup
So you saying they should play him even though he hurt and playing a team they should beat without him?🤨

KT tape and 3 days has fixed mine
Sit him.

Injured this in a wrestling match in high school. Took me about a week or two to feel confident again.
Sam hasn’t been right all year. Give him time to heal before the playoffs.
Exactly
He's fine
No he's not he's been hurt all year.🤨
This is the perfect time to let him sit and heal, he hasn't been healthy all season.
