    Hi Abbi, I love all your jewelry and simple, yet very helpful explanation. Realizing this is an older video, I don't know if you'll respond, but I'll ask anyway. I have a lot of different sized seed beads, including 6-0's (very inexpensive from years ago) and want to know if you think they'd be ok to use in this type of jewelry? They're not uniformed, but still very pretty beads. Thanks for your time & teachings, Stella in Texas.

    Hi, I just found your channel, and I love wrap bracelets in general, but I really like this bracelet for its simplicity. I've made 4. But my question is which type of wire did you use because a couple of my bracelets seem kind of stiff near the clasp... I used Beadalon 19?. I did another one using thread and it is much more supple. So my question is what type of beading wire did you use.? And how long was the piece of chain. I had to adjust my length of chain afterwards. Thanks!

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I recommend using Medium Soft Flex. In my opinion, it is the best quality jewelry wire on the market. I usually adjust the chain to the wearer if I can, but if I'm unsure of the person's wrist size, I will leave a couple of inches beyond what I think they might wear just in case they need it larger. If they don't, it's a cute dangle!

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Traci Hayner Vanover Not a dumb question at all! The smallest I would recommend using would be size 11s. You can use some 15s on the md. size Soft Flex wire, but it depends on the manufacturer and finish of the seed beads. Thanks for watching!

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Judith Hamilton Thank you! I did make it. They're natural quartz crystal nuggets. I strung them on silk and knotted between each bead. I then connected the silk to chain. If you've never done knotting, we have a video on it!

      @AbbiBerta  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +venus toran A lot of people use a flat nose or chain nose pliers to squeeze crimp beads. It definitely won't be as secure as a crimp tool but it could work until you get an actual crimping pliers! How did you make the bracelet on your wrist the one with the rose

      @AbbiBerta  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      NewlyNatural Tee Hi there! I made the rose out of black polymer clay, then I used a product called Swellegant over the top of it to make it look metallic. The rest is just Swarovksi pearls on stretch cord.

    I don’t know if this was an earlier video or not, as I’ve watched a few of yours now and they’re usually perfectly framed, but I hate to tell you this one the main thing we can see is a clear view of your front, we can’t see the beads much, nor your smile, which I’d much rather see ! I stopped watching after a couple of minutes. Hope maybe you’ll redo this one at some point as your brilliant at teaching us what you do so effortlessly 🙂

      VioletSkye19 thanks for the tips. This video is certainly an older one. Thanks for your kind words.

    Very nice tutorial, you don’t have to keep taking out the measuring tape if you have one (or a ruler) secured to your work mat or tabletop.
