  • Found an abandoned '84 Nissan/Datsun 720 in the woods. She's been sitting for a few decades and a tree fell across the roof about 10 years ago, but she lives again!

The 720…arguably one of the most indestructible engines known to man…

That Z engine means this is an engine that has 8 spark plugs. 4 for intake, 4 for exhaust. And some of these engines were also put into the Mazda and Ford Ranger trucks, as Ford bought this engine off of Nissan in 1990 and put it to use within the Ford Motor Corporation. Nissan is also a part of Ford Motor Corporation as the Mercury Villiger is nothing but a Nissan Quest.

Love your video kind of the same situation with me .
A friend of mine I work with told me to come and haul off this truck on the back 40 of his property it was full of blackberries lumber back window busted out same thing he said if I can get it running I can have it or I just hold off the scrap well I got it running with a fresh battery gas rewired the fuel pump and it was the fuel relay that's up underneath the passenger side of the glove compartment what's the problem.... I've driving the heck out of the truck now for over a year...
I did the Weber carburetor changed all the fluids in it gutted the whole interior still gutted going to put a new interior in it here soon

It is going good my radiator went out a couple weeks ago I got that fixed went ahead and put new thermostats and stuff in it it's still going pretty good looking at getting some rims and tires for it right now it's a four-wheel drive so I want my tires to just stick out a couple inches past the fenders nothing too crazy I'm not going to lift it or anything like that but I just want a nice good stance on it

@@lovemypits02 Just PLEASE don't go puttin those ugly wagon wheels and thin tires on it, you will ruin the looks of your truck then. And it's always a good idea to paint the underside of the chassis and floorboards and your frame with black rust olem paint to keep it preserved from road salts and chemicals that might damage your truck. Wouldn't hurt to remove the bed and paint the underside of it to, change your fuel pump, re run bran new fuel lines, and change your water pump and timing chain/belt while there. They'll run forever if you keep a strict matainance schedule on them.
