What happens when that first happens is of UTMOST importance. If the woman plays weak and cowers in fear, it WILL happen again. That rush they get seeing the woman in fear keeps them “coming back for more.” In this lawyer’s case his message was “you think you are some hot shot lawyer but I’ll show you who’s the man here” … because he saw that he successfully was able to beat her down with brute force the first time, it was the one thing he had that was superior and humbled her once already. There was nothing stopping him from going all out at that office, especially perhaps if he had been told she was leaving him or seeking divorce.
