I got this because I live in Indy. My wife and I have been there several times and we love it. Brent, didn't your parents teach you that a gentleman removes his hat when he is indoors?
@@rogerd777we appreciate you watching our video and taking time out of your day to comment, and I’m sorry that my choice to wear a hat indoors has offended you. Check out the Ruth’s Chris video if you’d like to see me without a hat on, but I can guarantee you if my hats continue to offend, you’re not going to enjoy any of the rest of our videos either
Haven't commented a lot but I've been enjoying your channel. :) I've ALWAYS wanted to go to St Elmo, looked on the website and I'm tellin you, I would order the chopped steak for sure! Is it being a Hoosier, cause no way am I parting with huge money on a steak. Ty guys
@@Candyland420 thank you sooooo much for watching and commenting, we appreciate you so much! St Elmo’s is definitely worth the try if only to say you did it. Grace has no problem spending money on food but I hate to spend a lot to eat, that’s definitely the Hoosier in me. Grace has lived here most of her life but was born in California, so that’s probably where she gets the expensive taste 😂
That’s so awesome to hear! Thanks for the love and for watching! Being lifelong Hoosiers, is there anything or anywhere that you really enjoy that you’d like to see us show to the masses?
@@braceyourselfchannel - I really thought I had replied last night...but I don't see it so I'll give it another shot. I guess it depends on what/where you want your content to go. There are quite a few gems in Indiana that maybe are still hidden away or don't get much press. I've never been to Bonges Tavern in Perkinsville, but I hear it's a good place to eat. Perhaps a visit to Amish country and visit the auction/flea market and a stop at an Amish family style restaurant. This winter, you could visit Pokagon State Park near Ft. Wayne and ride the toboggan run (it will reach speeds of 35+). Or visit Carmel's Christkindlmarkt (not sure when it opens but it's soon as they are busy setting it up)...vendor booths, eats/drinks, and go roller skating on the temp rink. Visit a cave in Southern Indiana (Marengo and Squire Boone are nice). In summer, the Dunes...or Indiana Beach or Holiday World amusement parks. idk...you can always get additional ideas by reviewing Indiana's, Ohio's, etc. visitor/tourism websites to see what they consider "must visits" in the state for ideas. Your videos can make these places come alive vs a picture and a write up on a webpage. They will also appeal to a wider audience than just Hoosiers as these are travel destinations for out of state visitors. A lot of people may find your videos on these subjects just by doing a web search as part of their travel planning. I will pm you if I can think of anything/any where else. My wife and I do enjoy your content so far. I eat quite a bit like Brent so I'm always laughing at his comments. It's interesting to hear your take on the places we've been and also seeing places we've been wanting to go and hear your review of the place. I wish you both continued success on your channel and look forward to your future vids.
Thanks so much for watching and for the warm welcome! We’re from Indiana, born and raised, and we always enjoy filming videos in Indy. Unfortunately, most of the local videos we do draw relatively low numbers of views compared especially to our Gatlinburg videos, which is why we put a ton more of that stuff up. We really do appreciate you watching and commenting, and hopefully you’ll stick with us!
7:38 Lol Well why didn’t you say something? If I’m paying that much, best believe ima savor every bite and what ever I don’t have room for, I’m taking to go. Lol
I think she was shell shocked. That waiter showed up like a ninja and that soup was gone before she knew what hit her lol. It's already kind of awkward being in fancy places especially (he says as he wears his hat backwards the whole time) and filming, so we never want to come off like jerks to the staff. We more feel like we're just in everybody's way the whole time, even if it's not true. Thanks for the laugh and for watching, we appreciate you!
@@braceyourselfchannel That’s understandable, I really wanna go to St. Elmos as I’ve lived in Indy all my life but never been. It does seem a bit intimidating tbh lol I never been to anywhere close to as fancy there. (For example, “fancy” to me is places like… _Red Lobster_ & _Olive Garden_ lmao)
@@Austin.Kilgore it’s definitely worth trying once, but I don’t feel like it’s life changing or anything. It’s hard for me to part with that kind of money when I could get a 7/10 steak at Texas Roadhouse for 1/4 the price. That’s just me though
My dad and his buddies went on a fishing trip at lake monroe in brown county they decided one night to go up to indy and eat here they got run off of the place because they hadnt cleaned up and smelled like bait and fish
We'll add it to the list! We've heard a lot of good and some bad about that gigantic tenderloin, but I'd say it's worth checking out for ourselves! Thanks!
I’m sorry you feel that way, but if you’ve ever been to St Elmo’s before a Colts or Pacers game, you’d quickly see that very few people are in suits and ties
@@braceyourselfchannel Wow.... and you really lost me at "I'm sorry you feel that way". My pet peeve non apology apology. I don't care about colts or pacer games. I was taught better than that.
Neither of us eat seafood at all, so we weren’t about to pay $19 to get grossed out lol. We did get a cup of cocktail sauce to eat on crackers though 😁
Glad to be apart of the early crew. Here is to success for you two and the growth of the channel! 🎉

Congratulations! It’s nice to see a steakhouse in Indianapolis. Sorry that nerd waiter took your soup! Ask first dude 😆. Thanks for sharing
Those are garlic knots….not crescent rolls…😂

I noticed that too. Not a big deal but it does seem a bit classless.
It apparently didn't lose you enough to stop you from commenting. If a video loses you, you can just flip on by.
You go to St. Elmo's and didn't get the Shrimp cocktail, come on, that's what everyone wants to see, as to your reactions.
