I'm just one of the MANY people just sittin and waiting for Getting Up 2. This was honestly one of my favorite games. From the fighting style to the graffiti and parkour. The day I beat the game and got everything, I was sad. I actually almost cried because I didn't want it to end. If there is a Getting Up 2, there will be NO WAY I'm not getting that game INSTANTLY!

Never got caught for me. Cause I never really got out to specifically have the objective to write, the thing is I always wear a small pouch with 4 cans and sometimes 5 when going out. I basically prepare from time to time when going out casually to go to a 24/7, internet cafe, etc. If I found a good spot during that, I'd write.
Also, not as common and as committed as these guys and also you guys. I was 12 and basically just have the motivation to write because of this game xD

Hell yes, because i played this game now i want a remaster
I used to play this game over and over just because of the amount of attack combo you had. It's insane how you can connect a punch with a kick or grab the enemy and punch it, kick it, throw it away, this game was very complete and unique in every single aspect.
Fuck i wish i can play a new story of Getting Up, it's just an amazing game, i started and finished it when i was only 8. Beautiful, the story, the character, the graffiti ofc and the songs... just wow.
We need Getting Up 2, please Marc.

Replaying the game every year since the release date. What a masterpiece. BTW, thanks a lot for the video. Have never seen it before. Learning smth new about it every month lol, fan base is awesome. They definitely have to make something out of this

Imagine an open world getting up with modern day graphics and as much depth and customization as gta online with a parkour system and the graffiti mechanics of this game with the ability to design your own graffiti pieces as well bruh🤤

I think they should either re master the old game or they should get the studio that does Watch Dogs for Ubisoft to make a sequel! I feel like Watch Dogs 2 had a sorta Gettin Up Graffiti like vibe too it!.

Back then I didn’t know about TH-cam or gameplays/walkthroughs so if I want a new ps2 game I just judged games based off they’re covers and screen shots on the back, so when I saw “getting up” at some swap-meat I thought to myself “Oohh a graffiti game? That looks kinda cool” greatest choice of my life; and I’m not gonna lie this game made me buy a notebook and fill it up with graffiti words that I would find and see around my neighborhood XD

I am from Ukraine and this game impacted and changed my artistic life and vision. Thats how powerful of a piece of art it was (not a game). Thanks to this game I discovered Cope2 and rest of the artists. Trying to mimic the art and get good at creating lines and developing something unique. On one hand I am so sad that not all games are like this, but yet this is the game I wish all developers would look up to in terms of creativity and uniqness and fun.
I am still playing it on my PC to this day to get inspired.
We really need a second game done up by same visionists and devs.
Imagine an open world, where you can climp very tall buildings, complex fighting, climbing and painting system. Huge dialog and customization options.
Give us the CITY to play with and Paint.

@@mr.nobody7959 Well they still making GTA, and the story is always about criminals. You're telling me that they can't do a game that talk about art? The streetart is one of the most beautiful art if you think about it, legal or not, every single graffiti is a masterpiece.
Obey for example, he was one of them that changed something, started from nothing and making graffiti for passion of art and now people know, wear and love his art all over the world.

I'm from Pittsburgh an we had a graffiti artist named MOOK he was known to hit places that were hard to get to this game always reminds me of him the police ended up finding out his identity from an anonymous note an he went on the run whenever his Grandma's house was raided where they found graffiti tools an sketches of his work wired how it's slightly similar but MOOK has a Wikipedia take a look an let me know what you think

A HUGE FUCKING SHAME! shame on you game developers for not giving hardcore graffiti fans an outlet, the one and only Marc ecko did he took a risk and getting up is one of the most influential most inspirational games ever made I used to tag trane in respect for Coltrane cowley I used the tags in gane as my inspiration and creativity
