Have these at 57lbs on my VCore Pro 97HD , phenomenal strings, no change in anything after no matter what hours. I change them once a month to save my arm from any unwarranted surprises.
Hi Mark! i switched from hybrid to full bad of Original at 29kgs. i dont now what to say, it plays awesome! even better than hybrid. great string. good tension mantience... gut like feel... etc i think its great string!
Tomorrow two sets are coming. I am going to test BBO with babolat VS tonic in hybrid on my Wilson RF97 v11 . VS Tonic on mains 27kgs BBO on crosses 25.5 kgs Will write some words about it after I finished playing. ;) Great video too
I just bought what seems to be an OEM (unlabeled) reel of big banger off of wish.com for about 60 bucks I tested it alongside rpm blast (didn't realize till too late that I should have gotten the official big banger to compare) and it was very interesting to compare. If you want, I can mail some over to you to test.
@@MarkSansait sure. Caveat though, it is a glossy black stiff string... Never tried big banger, and haven't seen it in black, exactly. Just thought that it was interesting to try for comparison.
I respect your opinnion, but lots of professionals players play with this string as Bautista, Ramos, Verdasco, Robredo (Now alu power), nalbandian..nadal said It was really good trainning but on tournament he has problema (this year he had mentals problema). And luxilon do not pay to the players. I Will try the string that you suggest, but I like luxilon
Hi Mark :) Let me write few words about BBO and playing things with that string. First of all. I played BBO 1.30 on crosses with Babolat Tonic 1.35 Natural gut on Mains. Everything on my Wilson RF97 Autograph V11. So very control oriented frame, stiff frame. Natural gut was 27kgs BBO was 25.5 kgs. I can compare this setup with ChampionsChoice and Babolat Hybrid VS + RPM Blast. Natural Gut Mains 27kgs / Lauxilon BB Original 25.5 kgs I was quite impressed with this setup. Everything was on the feel side. No "boardy" feel in any way. I think that Low powered BBO got pretty well with high powered NG. Ball was easy placed on the base line. Easy controled on other points on the court. Sometimes ball gone over base line, but in general its was not "rocket launcher Falcon 9 with 7 Raptor engines " :) It is sooo much softer than Champion Choice. So much. No Arm issues , no "boardy" feel of the string bed, everthing played smooth and easy. I think that this Luxilon is much better combination than ALu Rough, for this hybrid ( Of course, this was my personal experience :) and taste ) Many moments during practice i was thinking that i was not playing with BBO, just with Natural Gut. This soft feel can have connection with VS Tonic itself. When i was playing with VS Touch + Alu Rough, i got quite stiff stringbed, i could not play for few days without my arm issues ( Not in elbow, just got some pain in muscle above it), and after string bed opened , everthing was ok, but in different way. I could say that this hybrid plays better than ChampionChoice. Its easier on arm and quite softer than CC. So, i am quite happy with this hybrid. I will play in a few days again, so, i was thinking to buy reel of Luxilon BBO and few sets of Babolat Tonic 1.35 Natural Gut. Maybe i found my string setup of choice :) PS. Because of my style of playing (I am not base liner I love Pistol Pete :) , and Roger Federer and trying to apply his concepts and strokes) :) , I was thinking next time to rise Kgs, from 27 to 28 or maybe 28.5kgs M/ 27 kgs C so i could test that version of string bed. I do not play with dampener :) At the and the price per frame: Here in Croatia: 1. Set of Luxilon BigBanger Original 1.30 i got for 10 Euros 1. Set of Babolat Tonic 1.35 i got for 30 Euros 1. Stringing price per frame was 5 Euros So price for one frame was: 5 + 15 + 5 = 25 euros :)
@@MarkSansait I tried so many strings, including Luxilon and shared your thoughts almost exactly. Predicting you will like the performance and love the relatively low price.
Good stuff. This is why pros switch every 3 games or so. The break in period you’re talking about is actually when the poly dies aka elasticity is shot. With their pace and consistency the polys die quicker. That’s why I’m consistently searching for the best pre-stretched poly for consistent playability duration. I think I've found it with Grapplesnake Tour Sniper.
I have this at 52 and 50, like it better at 50...seems a lot stiffer than the Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution 17 (1.25), have you tried that string? www.kirschbaumusa.com/product-category/pro-line/pro-line-evolution/
I have no tried the Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution string yet - how do you like it? Thank goodness its a LOT cheaper than the Luxilon Original Big Banger 😂😂😂
@@MarkSansait @Mark Sansait Softer than the ALU, I strung it at 53lbs and I think I should have done it at 55, it's too much like a trampoline now. It's an even better value now (sale) when I searched online for strings. It's a smooth string, no texture, and pre-tensioned too.
@@MarkSansait Would you recommend Hyper G as a string that is softer than ALU Power and has a little bit more spin potential? I don't think I have the strokes well enough to use Confidential. Thank you.

What string can I use or which is the best for the Wilson Blade 98 V9 16x19? Thanks Mark!!!!
can you review Premium or not Premium strings which you think are best? like top 3 or 5.. and then get back to strings which you think are shit..
cheaper strings are shiit, facts.

Great control, no stiff, good on arm. 😊

But for most consumers, its WAY to expensive.
Most consumers arent hitting with the intensity, spin, and power has any of the pros you mentioned.

Have you tested MSV Hex Focus yet? It's what I use and am very curious if your thoughts.
I have not yet - one of my hitting partners swears by that string. I definitely have to try it out soon!

I'm using msv foxus hex 1.18 full bed since 2 years. It is a great strimg with lots of spin potential and great durability
