1:26:40 the ash had full leaf. The wind that was probably being blocked by the removed ash trees that was coming from the lake, the wind exposure changed for the tree that failed. Also being close to water im sure the trunk injections could have been a source of root decay but also the roots being anaerobic from the lake water percolating probably had something to do with it too. Most likely the root that was on the wind side facing the lake was anaerobic and died and was being decayed then the removal of the trees being a wind block allowed more exposure to the ash that failed in probably normal high wind off a lake.
46:30 red oak? They seem to be hollow alot. I'm in Ontario and red oaks I've worked with all had internal decay and were multi stem close to the ground with included bark.
