Tire retreading step by step video | Remove trye unit from the vehicle | Separate tyre / tire from its disc assy with pneumatic / electric tire / tyre remover. Remove tire / tyre tube and flap.
Remove the damaged tread with buffing machine | Do the buffing process gradually
Buffing process makes the tread removal easily . Make sure the level of the tyre.| Tire retreading process | How old tires are retreaded | Tire retread plant | How old tires are wrapped So they can be reused |
Remove the tire / tyre from the buffing machine
Apply vulcanization solvent on the tyre tread area. Wait 40 minutes to dry the valcunization solution. Some solvents are coming with non dilution type and some are require dilution.
Dilution of valcunisation solution can be done with gasoline / petrol. It will easily vapourized . So that the surface will be easily dried.
After that we have to paste or stick the new tread on the tyre and cut both edges in inclined shape.
This is an old method is adopted here. This is steam type machine
Apply adhesive on joints
Fix the tire into curing unit with special tool. Fix tube and flap and fill air into the tube. Fix both side disc
Close both cover of the machine .tighten the unit with maximum leverage as possible to make an air tight fixing.
The pressure inside the system is around 200 psi.
Steam it around 2 hours ( May 1 hour and 45 minutes )
After this remove the inside air ( tire ) by unscrew the valve.
Remove the tire unit
Now newly treaded tire can be shown. Remove both disc.
Remove tire flap
Remove tube

It is an old machine working with steam of water. there is a boiler which produce steam is going to the tyre vulcanizing machine. Fixing of tyre after pasting tread that you can see in the video. then putting under heat upto 2 hours. Removal also taking the steps that shown in the video
