Honestly, I'd have prioritised getting all the strength elixirs at this point, and great weapons. I don't know where are you planning on taking your character, but at least one of you should take great weapon master :-) Also seek every source of advantage, + attack and bless you can get, nothing is more important for fighters
Mmm, you mean from the shopkeepers? We'll try to loot everything we see, of course. I'll discuss GWM in the next episode, I actually think a little differently about it and how good it is in HM. Let me know your thoughts once you see / hear my reasoning.
To be honest though, I don't think we'll be using throwing too much. I like to have it "just in case" or to open up combat or reach some pesky archers / mages. I kind of hate throwing, to be honest, not least because I think the animation for it is atrocious and un-immersive :) But at the same time, I think it's a very good fit for EK in terms of maximising the utility of their class ability. I think what would have been cooler is if they could throw any one handed / versatile weapon as a "throwing" weapon. That way they would be like a jedi or god of war type characters that would weave in throwing their weapon while dueling enemies in melee.
22:20 [poor Zorru] my lore knowledge is quite poor but are you sure this poor tiefling actually ('he did make an attempt on the life of our kin') dared to harm a githyanki? my impression so far is he was with the tiefling[s] who encountered the Gith party at the bridge road and one of them just run their sword through his friend. given how this group treats anyone around them (even Lae'zel) I wouldn't put it behind them that all the tieflings did was showing their face by accident and that was enough for the Gith to run them through. 😟
Possibly. I also didn’t quite get what happened. I think though that Zorru was part of the party that put Lae’zel into the hanging cage while she was unconscious after falling from the nautiloid. That’s why she demands an apology.
@@immersioneer what are the rules on spoilers for you, don't want to wreck anything..but since it already happened - zorru was not with the teefs who caged laezel, that was their "countermove" after learning of zorru's prior encounter. but zorru is just another istik, who cares 🤣
30:00 When Auntie Ethel says "nae bother" she always seems to have a glint in her eye, if you know what I mean. 37:30 Shadowheart casually talks of 'killing a cat' perhaps that is why I dislike her so much. Loving this Githyanki playthrough.

5:12 by now you surely know these gloves offer their benefits only when you have the Absolute's brand on you - except for the _Sleight of Hand +1_ feature, you'll get that even without being branded. 😉
Erm... no, actually, I did not know that.......... Because these are the first gloves we get, I never thought that Absolute's Bain referred to the Absolute like other items... Massive facepalm... Thanks for pointing this out to me!
@@immersioneer in total, five items have this feature - four of them have the word _Absolute_ in their name but these gloves are an exception. it probably happens to all of us. my first character was running around in these gloves for ages before I found an entry in the BG3wiki telling me I need to get branded to benefit from the passive _Absolute's Bane_ .

Holy cow! I just finished the second episode and here’s the third one an hour after I was like “can’t wait for the next one” sweet!!

I think we’ll be forced to do plenty of long rests as fighters. We basically need 1 short rest per fight, so 3 fights a day.
Eldritch Knight throwing build is incredible, like almost any other EK or throwing build 😅
