      Hi Paula. Despite the sunshine, it was below freezing level outside. The sun looks much stronger on the video than it was in reality at the time. Which is a pity! I'm sure it is MUCH warmer where you are! Have a nice day. Rob.

      Much warmer here! We had 45 degrees Celsius on Sunday! Not much to do but sit inside and watch you play guitar. No live classical music here so I feel lucky to have the internet and great TH-cam content. Thank you!

      @@RobMacKillop1 well I won't be the one to judge as to whether or not it's divine inspiration, but you definitely bring these pieces to life. After watching you I was able to greatly reduce the tension in my playing on #3.

    I am currently studying the Segreras books, just finishing up book one. Also studying the Shearedr method, but the Segreras lessons are so much more beautiful sounding. I would be happy, as a hobbyist, just filling my repertoire with the Segreras pieces. Your interpretations are very nuanced and sensitive.

    This gives me inspiration to work on some of the fingerstyle Ukulele exercises in one of your books. I have bought a new ukulele, Takamine tenor. Much better I think for fingerstyle than my narrownecked banjo ukulele.

    • @RobMacKillop1
      @RobMacKillop1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marianna, a tenor is much better than a Banjo uke for fingerstyle, as you are finding out. And a tenor is a good transition to a classical guitar. Enjoy the journey!

      Hi Josh, My Cordoba C9 parlor guitar was delivered to me on June 23rd. I just love its workmanship and the tone. Also it’s much more comfortable to play. When you Google this guitar, you’ll find some review of it. The one by The Classical Guitar is very informative. Good luck in your search for a guitar you’ll enjoy playing. Best regards, Kelvin

      Yes, I hear Piazolla as well. The guitar is 650mm. It's a negra flamenco, with nylgut strings tuned to 440. Lovely guitar!
