I wish Periphery fans wouldn't recommend this to people new to Periphery, I feel like the impact is even bigger when you're used to their sound and variety That said it's impossible to not recognize the vocals here
Tyler- As much as I agree, Manny seemed to be able to handle and appreciate the softer side of things too which is refreshing bc some of the other metal reactors would just be bored by the first half of this song. That said, Manny- would highly recommend a journey through their catalog. It is a very IMMERSIVE experience that a lot of other bands fail to hit. This is definitely in part due to Spencer’s vocal performance as they are really acted out and so felt. Even when you don’t know what he’s saying, he does an amazing job of getting emotion across. Hope to see more of your Periphery reactions!
this was my first proper experience with periphery, and if it was any other song, they probably wouldn't have become my favourite band. 6:01 is just too magical, i couldn't believe what i was hearing
