Oscilloscopes are really handy for just about anything related to audio circuits and if it's fast enough RF circuits. Being able to see the shape and magnitude of noise or the signal voltage at the base of a transistor is immensely powerful.
I would love to see you generate an AM modulated signal (100% depth), at above 25MHz to see how well it does with capturing that, and how well the trigger settings work. (The I have the same Siglent 1062X and it can do this up to 60MHz). Cheers and 73
200mz on a tablet is actually quite impressive and hooking it up to that Siglent made for a nice reviewing…Any chance of hooking it up to a rubidium frequency standard also (cell phone tower, or equivalent) and check calibration before I write that check?
@@TheSmokinApe You don’t strike me as someone who doesn’t have a 10mhz frequency standard, But they are cheap on e/pay used and decommissioned cell stuff, ultra stable rubidium in a little oven case (There is also nice video on the subject over on U/tubes)…Typically I use them to calibrate my workbench all to one standard, Thinking you should at least check it out… But thanks for the review on that tablet O/scope, That is pretty cool.
like the video, was looking for a Oscilloscope for laptop . VTO Series caught my attention but once I seen specification only on Mpts 50 . I look away 50 not my area specialty of automotive, well for somewhat old car. still give thumb up though.
Overpriced when you consider the Rigol DHO8xx series is more than $100 cheaper and has 12 bit ADC conversion. That’s 16x more resolution for less money. Bangood makes no mention of the ADC resolution on this device so one must assume it to be 8 bit.
Tip for a 5 second review... use the auto set button. Arh just a joke.... Seems to be a serious tablet scope in the jungle of thousands. Thanks for the review. But the price is spicy.
What happened to your normal intro for your videos telling people they might want to watch cat videos? I wish more test equipment had the touch screen option.
30 seconds in and I knew I was going to need this.... No clue what to do with it or how to use it, but we'll figure that out later.
Lol
Yeah, I need that solution! I'll find a problem for it later 😉

This looks pretty sweet! Thanks for sharing Ape.
Howdy Chuck, thanks for stopping by!
Really cool scope 😊😊😊
Thanks, was fun to play with, I’m going to use it in some upcoming test videos 👍
@@TheSmokinApe nice, I'll have to get one of those scopes
@@TheGmr140 there’s a few things to look out for on any scope, like input impedance and bandwidth. I’ll cover that in the future 👍
Interesting. I never considered how useful the additional functionality of a tablet would be in combination with a scope.
Yeah, it’s pretty cool to have things like the internet accessible for field work.
Thanks Ape! Very cool piece of equipment! I like how the instructors say to sub to your channel, good advice!! :)
LOL, thanks for watching BA 👍
This device IS FREAKING AWESOME by the way!

Hey Pezcat, I am planning more videos showing this scope, I an add that to the list. Thanks for watching 👍

Sorry man, I don’t have access to that stuff

Didn't know I needed this and TO stands for Temporarily Offline bro
lol, it very well could 👍
@@TheSmokinApe TO2002 is Steves designation when he finally gets fully integrated
I believe
👍Thank you sir.
Thanks for watching 👍
It's awesome, but it's too advanced for my needs. The signal quality and features are very nice!👍
Thanks for checking it out Don
Nice! No Jim, you do NOT NEED another O'scope!
Sure he does.
Jim doesn't need it, but Jeem does!😂
I created a loophole for you to buy it. Haha

Fair comment, thanks for the perspective 👍
Not bad performance for a1GSa/s tablet scope. but in my humble opinion it should be about half the price it is.
Fair perspective, thanks Richy 👍
It a lot for £500 but a very interesting item 73
Yeah, it isn’t cheap

I should bring that back. The touch screen option is pretty sweet 👍
Your videos have a side effect, I have come to call it “emptious walletus” for which I have found no cure yet. 👍🏼 Ham On!
lol, thanks for watching Freddie
