Roadtrip to Sunnmøre - Møre og Romsdal - Norway - 4K

A weekend trip to Sunnmøre to visit my relatives. My aunt and uncle, and my cousin lives in village called Øye next to Norangsfjorden. Geiranger is often considered the most popular tourist-destination in Sunnmøre, but driving through Norangsdalen is just as spectacular, if not more.
First we drove through Jølster where we stopped at Vassenden, Skei and Stardalen. Then we arrived in Stryn, where we visited the famous spots like Olden and Lodalen. We also drive up the river in Stryn to get some attractive drone-shots. Afterwards we drove to make my aunts house in Øye, but of course had to stop in Norangsdalen to do some more drone-shots. We had a lovely dinner with the family, and spent the night there. The next day my aunt and uncle took us to their family-cottage in Urasætre, and also to see the underwater ruins in Lyngstøylvatnet.
Lyngstøylvatnet was formed in 1908 when a rockslide blocked the Norangselva river, flooding a summer pasture and a small forest.[3] In calm weather, you can see remnants of the house foundations through the water surface, as shown in the picture below. The entire lakebed is covered in vibrant green grass and old trees, as well as mud due to the stagnant water. Because of these ruins, the lake has become a popular diving spot. Access to the valley and the lake is via county road 655 from the village of Øye.

Veldig lurt. Som sagt, Norangsdalen er noe for seg selv så den bør absolutt prioriteres. Er dere tidlig utr, book rom på Hotel Union (det blå rommet, hvis dere er tøffe). Vi skal uten tvil tilbake på vårparten igjen
