I don't feel comfortable using sparkling baby yarns on toddlers down to newborn. Every type I ever had eventually the sparkly thread invariably will break and I don't want to feel responsible for a little one ingesting it so I usually will do maybe for age 3 and up.❤
Thank you for taking us with you, I really enjoyed your video. Really sad that they cut back on the yarn. Ours got rid of a lot and it's not really fun to go as much.
I don’t know but Hobby Lobby made a risky move. I personally will be ordering more online from Premier and Herrschners. It seems that Hobby Lobby is bringing in more household goods and novelties which I can get anywhere else.
I was sad to see only 2 aisles of yarn at my store

Hi Glenda, Hi Cody , I’m seeing lots of yarn,but, pricey for me. I prefer Premier yarn & Lion Brand. Thank you for walking the aisles of yarn. P:S: waiting for Glenda to do “new” tutorials on kitchen potholders, afghans.
I love the breathe deep 4 weight. So soft. Oh the colors of "I love this cotton" I believe I like every yarn from Hobby Lobby.

Love Hobby Lobby yarn, however it's gotten very expensive even with the 30% off. Easier for me to use my senior 10% and coupon's with or without a sale at Michael's and with or without a sale at Jo-Ann's with coupon's.
Love seeing your subscribers! I just feel let down, seems like every yarn store carrier are downsizeing the yarn isles.
Thank you for sharing. I have not been to a Hobby Lobby in several months. I have to resist, afraid I may by way too much yarn and supplies. Guess the store has been doing some remodeling in certain areas. Some of the other peoples videos say the stores are changing things around. Our stores have the sale going on this week for the yarn, so I just drop by and check this out.
I don't get to stores much but I enjoy going if I can. I don't work with bulky yarns unless asked to make something but colors are pretty.
Sad to see the reduction of yarn aisles. My store finished the change and I was sad walking around. I don't mind ordering online but i really rather buy in person. Hope HL realizes they're driving folks away. 🙄
Clearance sales are not a sustainable business plan.
I have mobility limits and shop where stores offer mobility carts. Michael's and Joanne's do. Shop there. HL just laughed at me when i went there and asked about one. Didn't offer to help go get what i needed either. So i don't shop there. Guess they don't care about accessablity.

For the one where you have to spin it yourself, that looks to be a lot of fiber. Depending how thick you make it, you could end up with a ton of yarn. That looks like probably a pound of roving, and $10 a pound is pretty good depending on the fiber.
At least in my experience, I've spent that much on half that much roving, but it was also 100% wool.
Oh Lord I could spend my entire paycheck on the yarn section 😂❤

Sad that they are selling less yarn. 😕 There is NO Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton Sparkle yarn at all at my Hobby Lobby. I got the last of the Mohicans apparently a few weeks ago. I was surprised to see it at yours! Too much bulky yarn for me. Never use it. Thanks for the tour!!
The sport weight yarn you showed, what all can you use that for? Thank you for showing Hobby Lobby yarn, I don’t get out much and this helps so much.
The prices seem to be going up everywhere. A few pennies here and there.
I'm just sad that they got rid of a lot of their natural fibers. They had so much...Sugarwheel Cotton Solids were awesome. And Fresh Haven. And Tweed Indeed. So I'll probably be doing a lot of online shopping, unfortunately.

Thank you for the video Glenda. I am extremely disappointed in our hobby lobby. They really cut back on the yarn isles. My sister-in-law does scrapbooking and she feels like they have cut back on that as well. She is concerned because she is not sure in what direction hobby lobby is going.

I heard the new CEO wants to focus more on the home decor part of the business so he’s reducing the size of each of the craft departments. Really sad because in my area HL had the best selection of yarn.
They have some lovely yarn just so sad they downsized the yarn section so much.
Those #10 boxed threads are priced as tagged now, and you don't get the 30% discount off that new price (I asked... 😂).

If there’s a yellow tag on anything, the discount doesn’t apply. When they had the 40% off coupon, you couldn’t use it on a yellow price tag item either.

What is the difference between the low pill and anti piling yarn? What one is better to use?

Not fond of the Hobby Lobby in Newark, DE. Never sure of prices, say there’s too much stuff to put prices on. I always feel like I’m being ripped off.
Loved the trip to Hobby Lobby. I wanted to go this week so bad but, I have a craft show Saturday and just can't fit it in. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks 🤷🏼♀️

Since we know Hobby Lobby’s yarn is 30% off every other week, I have put it on my calendar in my IPhone to remind me. 😊 That’s how I know if it’s safe to go to HL without having to call and disturb employees who make be very shorthanded.

The yarn ID crochets up really nice. I’ve used it quite a bit. It works up really nice and is super soft!
The I love this yarn works up nicely as well I’ve used it for about 14 years now

Thank you for posting the sale. I'm just getting back into crochet and my HL is an hour away. Now I know some of the yarns to look for at my store.
I was at my hobby lobby in Texas about the same time yesterday. Yes I agree and noticed that the prices seem to be going up, unfortunately. I had never used hobby lobby yarn before, but recently bought yarn for a baby blanket. A lot of reviews on their yarns mention that the colors can vary and they are not kidding. Just in the color brown in same chocolate baby bee yarn was so different. They had 3 different dye lots so hard to get several of the same. But I love the selections they have. Thanks for sharing.

I made a king size afghan for my Son and his wife with the greys and Blues I I love this yarn . Great to work with and the amount of different shades of the colors I used was wonderful . Thanks for the shopping trip . Love and Hugs .

Idk about other HB but I get all my crochet thread from them it's never 30% off but for the yardage and the amount of colors it's worth it
I was at Hobby Lobby in Hammond La. And was very disappointed only one row of yarn then a other row over only a half of yarn 🧶 I only go to Hobby Lobby for the yarn.
That's called roving. You can knit with it, I've never tried a hook on it.❤

True. I like the yarns, but (and it's a big ol' BUT) between the ethics they practice and it almost being half bible store with the iconography, it feels oppressive in there instead of inviting. I'm all for you doin' you on religious practices, but not when you try to shove it down my throat.

It is suggested that the purpose of the yarn sell earlier this year was to get rid of everything that wasn't Hobby Lobby name brand yarns.
