seems to be very popular in central asian belt wrestling, someone linked a youtube vid a while back and this was the most popular move along with footsweeps. thought it was kind of interesting since they are so polar opposite in amplitude
Awesome breakdown recognized couple of my mates from 🇰🇬. Growing up back home we would just play around with variations of uchi mata a lot bcz this was most popular move right after suplex.
Similar to the normal uchi mata, when elevating the opponent, use the leg to elevate the inside thigh and not the crotch as it is incredibly difficult to lift and turn someone with just your leg
Is it possible to do this move if you are shorter than your opponent? Because when i try this move on taller guys seems impossible to elevate their legs with my short hips. All guys from this video are same height or taller

Awesome, I've been wanting a follow-up to the last video!

thats aweome details thnak you for the video !
Is there a "Greco friendly" version of this move? I wonder if you could just lift them and twist if it was greco
This guy used it all the time in Greco - occasionally would get called for a leg foul, though th-cam.com/users/shortsn_uHJKN7Vp0?si=jMSUyQ0b__U4NNTR
@@DPSBreakdowns that's awesome. Would love more upper body content!
I always thought the knee went in the crotch it makes so much sense that instead it rotates the thigh. Thank you for this!
Yoooo that was sick
Ippon (:
Good stuff

Excellent
Yagura nage and then transition into uchimata😮

Not uncommon in Muay Thai as well
how do you pivot while holding another man in the air and standing on one leg? seems like it would twist the knee
U have to hop on one leg several times. It can twist knee however most of these guys have strong durable knees due to these demands
