A few years ago my husband and I were going through a difficult time with each other and I told him "watch for the birds, the Lord will use them" and one day one was flying right next to him on the 10fwy while he was driving in the fastest lane it stayed right at his driver side window and for a good minute. The first song of yours, that I heard, was Psalm 139, and I already fell in love with it. And now, I heard this one, and it is also very beautiful, especially the second part, but it is all so good! And what I REALLY wanted to say to you, and I really hope, you will see my comment, that after I read the description, it gave me so much hope and it was so good to read it, because I struggled with many things my whole life, I won't go into details now, but one of the worst things, I struggle with right now, is depression, which is around 11 years by now, and I often feel hopeless, thinking after so much time feeling like this, how can it be any better? And then I read, that God got you out of it after 20 (!!!) years of struggling with it, I just... Wow! It gave me so much peace, knowing that even after so many years, nothing is lost, and there is always hope, it can always be better, and I hope, that it won't last that long for me, but even if it takes more than I would like to, I know, that I should never give up hope, because even when it seems and feels hopeless, everything can change in a moment. As for me, what makes it harder to understand in some ways, why I feel this way still, is that I always, my whole life, was religious to some extent, and now more than half a year ago, I started to search for God very intensely, and seem not to find Him. Not to feel Him, His joy, His peace... Etc. I cried out to Him many times, feeling like I can't get any lower, and literally nothing has happened. No answers. I tried to give my life to Him, I thought many times, that I did, but nothing has changed. But of course, I have to add, that I take many medicines for a LONG time, I kind of think, or more like, I'm pretty sure, that what I struggle with is, not even really depression, but the side-effects of these terrible pills, that I hate, and I hate the fact, that I started to take them, but I was around 14 or 15, when I got my first prescritions, so I didn't even have a legal choice about it. It was for OCD, which was very heavy, and more than anything was due to religious fears, which can be part of the reason why I could never really get emotionally close to God. I know by now, that there is literally nothing to fear, because He is Love, and He loves me more than I could ever imagine, my fears have faded by now, but I know, that I still have them in my body, if you might know, what I mean... And maybe they still block me from truly loving God, but I have hope. Now I do. He talked to me so many times in so many different ways, and He keeps telling me to trust Him, and to have faith, and all of that, and I know, that one day, He will get me out of it, and I have to trust in His timing, and even though, I wish for nothing else, but to actually feel joy and peace and you know, real emotions, and just to love life again, as I did, when I was younger, and I want it to be soon, very soon, and I really don't want to suffer any more, but I believe that His timing is the best, and He wants me to feel peace and joy, and to feel His love, His presence... And I will, it is only a matter of time. Just a few days ago, something terrible happened, which I won't share here, and I thought, why it happened right now, when I actually started to feel just a little bit better, and be more hopeful, and all of that, and what has happened could make it longer for me to actually get to healing, but I still trust Him. And I will trust Him always, no matter what. Someone just that day recommended me someone else that could help me to get off of the medicines, which caused me more harm, than anything, and I was in such a good mood compared to the usual, and then out of the blue... It happened... And it struck me down, but I didn't lose hope, and I think, it's also a sign of my faith being stronger than before, and now reading this story also strengthened my hope. Because I can know, that it is never too late to heal, even after what it seems like forever. Thank you so much for the beautiful songs, and for your testimony. I got so relived and somewhat truly peaceful after reading it, and now writing this. I really hope, that you will see this! Thank you once again! And thank God for everything! And that for He is SO good!
