I live in a neighborhood with almost all kinds of people, rich poor, educated, doing jobs, teachers, business and everything. Few years back was a case in my neighborhood, where a father was molesting and raping his 14 yr daughter and also her brother abused her. They were a middle class family living on rent, and a retired teacher who knew about this didnot show up when the child services came to investigate. Another case was two small boys being sexually molested by a bigger guy. And yes, they all belonged to educated well to do families. I think this can happen to any individual irrespective of gender or financial status, or educational status. This film didnot make me that emotional, because this issue has been addressed thousands of times, but still has not yet come up with a solution till then.

It's good to know that you unlearned such toxic behaviour. But I just wish people would consider women as humans that deserve respect rather than only being thoughtful because they are someone's mother, sister or daughter.
Coming to this film, even though it is very poignant and beautifully made and I personally loved it, it has come under the scanner of being plagiarised. It has a very derivative concept to another short film called 'Four'. Maybe you would want to check it out.

Two things. I love that you were so honest about your chauvinism in your younger days. Forgive yourself though because you changed, you matured, learned and you are a better person today. That’s how life should be. We can’t be the same people as we were in our youth. Some people never learn, change or grow sadly. What matters is that you’re not like that anymore.
The second thing that I appreciated was that you said “I’m talking about Pakistan” It’s very easy to criticize and condemn other people or other societies, but harder to take a look inward at ourselves and our own society. But honest growth and betterment comes from taking a look inward at our own communities and country and work on change from there, since much of the issues in other places also happen in our own places.

Most guys just point out how "most" of these cases are fake and how they hurt the men, without any sources.
