It's called dragonslope for a reason. I remember when I first tested this track I hadn't a clue where I was going save for the red track beams that showed as guidance.
SolidSnake684 Yh I think in GX you had a more steeper drop so you could technically see where you were meant to be landing, and of course the guardrail lights. Here it's less steeper and you have to anticipate each segment... The good thing about X is anticipating every obstacle lol
And even casually in X you can still beat the hilariously bad staff from GX without much effort lol (for reference the staff is barely sub 3 minutes iirc)
I have patched the original. Everything is from this video. Maybe it's the emulator, I have a version of Project64 that allows F-Zero X Expansion Kit to be played.
I've had this problem before specifically with these G64X tracks and it turns out that the solution was to patch the track to a different course (e.g. instead of patching to Jack-1, maybe try Queen-4 or King-2 etc.)
You gotta love when the AI dies in mass at one specific spot

@Remix Rave Dude, Those racers fall off, the GX version doesn’t?
_everyone dies_
*RIGHT ON, YOU'RE WAY OUT IN FRONT!*
Dude this is my favorite track in GX! So glad they remade it in N64
i like how you also make the final lap theme kick in on tempo like in GX
My personal favorite course in GX
GX has some crazy courses.
Funny how the jumping and landing section with no guard rails and ice looks really tense in this game, when its a breeze in GX.

Probably because of the long jump section. If it wasn't for that I'd probably have a hard time catching up.
Let's shift boost!
Air mechanics are much doper in X.
Perfect for Blood Falcon. He likes to fly a lot.
I have tried this track in G64X and I can't.
You mean you can't complete it or you have problem loading it?
Problem for loading, that's the problem.
Have you edited the track yourself or did you patch the original?
