Hello Richard, I really enjoy the podcasts but id like to download them onto my phone. The easiest way to download every video is to add them all to a youtube playlist however that will very time consuming for me. So could make a playlist and add all the videos to it as it much appreciated.
OK, I added a playlist called "all". We didn't post to youtube the first year or two so if you want the others you can download them at gamblingwithanedge.com.
I don't understand it, why did Joe stays in the car for 4 hours waiting for his girlfriend to play. Why doesn't Joe play a smaller spread in the casino since it's a long drive? Or he can relax in the casino, not in the car.
Lost any sense of belief when he said he found a dealer to deal 700 rounds an hour. A fast dealer can deal 300 hands. 700 *rounds* I assume 4 hands, would be 2800 hands an hour... Thats impossible. No card room could deal "12 shoes" in an hour.
@Dracula Tepes The pay and take alone takes 2 seconds. At least. You aren't counting shuffles, pay and take, other dealers pushing in, dealers occasionally looking backwards to tell their pit bosses something. Its not possible realistically.
Some well meaning advice - GAMBLING WITH AN EDGE is a title which seems fairly open to all sorts of gaming venues. I heard you once say during an ANSWER LETTERS broadcast that you sometimes have difficulty finding people to interview... and I believe it seeing as how you have many repeat guests.... However, instead of talking about the same old stuff and attempting to elevate cheaters to some misguided pedestal, perhaps you might find guests who well analyze other venues to win bets without cheating; such as in horse or greyhound racing, or sports betting. A few lessons from old farts with historical perspectives would be appreciated as well... You guys need to light a few sparklers and blow up some balloons - as much as I like the chemistry in your show you would do well to add some variety to the subject and guest lists... Who knows, you might also learn something new - nothing wrong with forming a few new connections in the brain.... :) By the way, I just saw you guys interviewed in an old Documentary; interesting!
I'm all for it. as for "other venues" we have had guests talk about beating: horse racing, sports betting, slot machines, lottery, dice, roulette, keno, and almost any other game you can name. As for "old farts" with historical perspective you might listen to the Al Francesco or Billy Baxter episodes. If you have connections to people you think would make good guests please send us names.
