Pandanggo sa Ilaw

A milestone for the San Lorenzo Ruiz Group from the metro Atlanta area. A 10th annual feast celebration was held Oct. 13, 2012. A small group of dedicated volunteers decided to honor the first Filipino saint, San Lorenzo Ruiz. 10 years ago, it was just a very modest celebration with less than 100 participants. Year after year, with God's blessings, it has grown with more supporters from all over the world. The 10th anniversary brought life to what is known as "The SLR Dancers", performing their first number - Pandanngo sa Ilaw...

OHHH MY GOD! ITS MY DANCE WHEN I WAS IN GRADE 4) IN CLOSING DAY . SA GABI PINA PERFORM ULI KAMI SA PARTY NG MGA HIGH SCHOOL NA NAG GRADUATE .. WHEN WE ARE DANCING I ACCIDENTALLY BROKE MY GLASS NAHULOG ANG BASO KO NA MAY CANDLE NA UMIILAW....PAANO KC NAHIHILO NA AKO SA PAG IIKOT .IKOT TAPOS MAHABA PA DAMI KO AT MAINIT....HAHAHAHA

i think the glass with light on their heads lessen or limit very very much the gracefulness they ought to give while dancing, but the music is very beautiful, full of life, hence lively music. it's enough to hold those glasses with light. further, more choreography can be invented to give more vibrance to this dance, without taking away it's originality. i hope some day we can see the difference when these women can dance gracefully to new moves or steps.

nilagyan ko po ng shape yung bottom ng baso para flat ang tayo sa ulo. Dahil bilog ang ulo kaya yung edges ng baso hindi sumasayad sa ulo. yung gitna ng bottom lang ang sumasayad. so, ginamitan ko ng glue gun para yung edge ng bottom naka sayad sa ulo. Glue gun ginamit ko para clear yung naka dikit sa bottom ng baso.

Oo, basta ang shape ng bottom ng baso ay contoured sa ulo ng mag dadala. Glue gun is good to use to add the needed surface sa ilalim ng baso. The goal is for the edges of the bottom to always in contact with the head. Again, the edges ng baso, not the surface of the bottom center of the glass.
