Well fang push is certainly a real strategy. A bit hard vs mustangs but still doable if your starting specialists offer you no better choice of tactic. Rhino strong unit!
I'm only 1400 mmr but I would have done something like electro hackers behind towers for the rhinos, shuts off the armor so stangs can hit harder and then it draws some fire from the fangs for a bit too to compensate for you having to get closer with the stangs again afterwards edit:he went photon the round after oh well lol
the photon coating shuts down the EMP so it only works for one turn, but hacker is always really good against rhinos. In this situation I need the forts to tank rhinos since i have no front line. I think going fort and hacker spreads me a bit too thin and he could maybe breach my towers if i don't have enough forts standing in every position where he can mobile beacon a new rhino in. You could go a little less mustangs here and add crawlers to front line and go hackers instead of forts for sure.
actually I thought about the hacker emp a little bit more after your comment. I seldom use EMP on the hacker but against multiple rhinos that have some other tech already upgraded than coating or power armor (normal armor f.e.) it could be pretty powerful as a standard response. All you need to do is missile the rhino 2 rounds in a row before it, then he will build power armor before photon coating and when you do the 100 costing hacker emp tech the enemy needs to invest 700 into photon coating. Thanks for the ideas!
@@SurreyEZ haha you're welcome, I just thought about it here because I remember a game where I went heavy crawlers and a guy started countering with whirlwind armour rhinos so he spent 1k on all that and then my emp hacker shut it down completely for 250 credits because I already had tech spec and junior manufacturing
