The Rex Ryan Jets were something else. From 2009-12 in particular, it didn't matter how good or bad they were. They were the talk of the town
And then the “butt fumble” happened and from Thanksgiving Day game in 2012 to the last day of the 2014 season, they were no longer the talk of town.
They were just the embarrassment of the town...
The best part of that Hard Knocks is Namath showing up and being disgusted at what he saw.
The Ravens skit night with the dude impersonating Shannon Sharpe was the funniest thing in the history of Hard Knocks.
Then the rookies copied Ray Lewis as well a few minutes later.

That is sadly because we kinda know everything thst goes on behind the scenes...unless it involves an actual historic franchise that you never really get to see (Bears, Patriots, Steelers, Packers, etc)
@DrugStoreCowboy since reality tv is so common and people have been able to completely edit themselves to fit a camera persona, I don't even know if it'll be worth it
It would've been cool to see teams give an inside look and it not feel like a marketing ploy to get ticket sales like the Ravens, Cowboys and Chiefs did during their first turns

The Ravens Hard Knocks is #1 and its not even close. Look at how many characters and funny skits they had that offseason. When you're a defending Super Bowl champion you can have all of the fun you want.
I don't think it's fair to say the Cowboys had just one familiar face (Emmitt) hanging around in 2002. They still had Darren Woodson from all three super bowls as well, and hall of famer Larry Allen

The worst seasons were the 2014 Falcons that is unwatchable, 2002 Cowboys and 2020 Rams. I have always enjoyed the show the production is just very hit and miss

What happened to every hard knocks team? They got knocked on their ass during the season and playoffs.
2021 Dallas Cowboys: 11-6 regular season, including 5-1 against their terrible division. The defense surprises the general public by being significantly improved while the offense is fine, but not as productive as the talent promised. They lose in the first round to the LA Rams as Stafford finally gets revenge in a dramatic victory over the Cowboys for the missed PI call in the 2014 Wild Card game.
Lol not gonna happen. They need a better coaching staff. Also the defense will be at best middle of the pack but most likely around the bottom 8.

All i learned from this is, hard knocks producer should be fired long time ago. They pick all the trash teams every year except the ravens.
There’s rules on who can be selected, Teams that made the playoffs within the last 2 years or have a first year coach are exempt from possibly having to be picked
I don’t understand why the cowboys were picked for a third time. I feel like the Jaguars or an NFC north team would have been more interesting
Most teams decline to be on the show. All the extra cameras can be a distraction from winning games. However Jerry Jones loves publicity and lobbies to be on the show
