Duskstorm I think she’s stopped relying on using Future Vision to check on Steven; remember how she admitted to using it all the time, afraid that he was still a kid that would get into a lot of trouble, and not realizing that he was more of an adult that could take care of himself? She’s probably toned down on it because of that.
I’m thinking she already knows Stevens whole mess. But she isn’t interfering knowing that any interference before Steven is ready to be confronted will result in him becoming corrupted.
I’d guess it’s one of three things 1. She just isn’t trying to rely on it as often, after Pool Hopping. 2. She would need to better understand Steven’s current situation to understand what his future will be like (again, like she said at the end of Pool Hopping) 3. She actually does know, but she feels that it would be best for Steven to figure things out on his own
The Visor was meant to be a Star, signifying her friendship and allegiance to Steven, finally moving past Rose Qurartz and fully accepting her/Pink Diamond helping her all these centuries, but ultimately looking to Steven for the 'Future'. Like Bismuth said in the movie "One of us to brandish to the star". And since Steven's star is yellow, going gold with it was a logical choice between Ruby, Sapphire, Bronze, and Silver.
Because it was shapeshifting and the dark red colour was still in her colour palette allowing her to add that into her form, it’s convoluted but it works

It might be a bit of a stretch, but green is composed of yellow and blue, so therefore Peridot maybe can channel yellow as a result? While Garnet is purple, which is the complementary color to yellow, hence the confusion.

I feel like the visor changed due to their innate decision to become one inside & out of fusion because in the beginning we used to see red streaks on the visor when ruby's side was showing & blue when more of sapphire was showing but gold symbolizes that not one or the other is in control it was a joined decision two minds,one answer

Actually, both Ruby and Sapphire’s outfits look inspired by Hollywood portrayals of old west costumes. The bronze and brown colors that Ruby wears are often associated with cowboys, while the new pattern on Sapphire’s outfit and the more triangular shape of the shoulder poofs are highly reminiscent of old western style ball gowns.
Now just a question I have been asking, is that about the shades of garnet's visor, when it turns gold is it ruby speaking? I also think, for someone like Garnet, when she fuses her form depends on how well Ruby and Sapphire connect. She started as cotton candy Garnet, and though Ruby and Sapphire's forms didn't change drastically her design got much darker and geometric. Their forms could've as well but it doesn't matter.
I'm still miffed that we never got to see how Ruby and Sapphire looked pre-Jailbreak. Yeah, Three Gems and a Baby had them un-fuse, but the show incorrectly used their Jailbreak outfits even though Garnet was red back then.
I think we actually got the old outfits? Sapphire's dress is especially different, with blue shoulder pads and no drape in the front. Ruby looks rather similar, but that might be because she rushed her reformation after Jasper destabilized them in The Return because she was anxious to get back to Sapphire (think Amethyst in Crack the Whip).

I think the outfits are supposed to represent the wedding outfits. Sapphire's "butterfly" looks like the top of a tuxedo and the bronze is supposed to look like the headband in Ruby's outfit during the wedding.
Late to comment but copper and silver have similar tones with the colors on Ruby and Sapphire. Silver being more cool toned and copper being more worm toned.

If you watch this amine, you can speculate, that Gems in Steven univers, could be in far future from anime, and are part of Lunarian experiments to regain a part of their former form, the fyzical one. Both gems and crystals (Houseki no kuni), are born from earth/planet, the gems form is light projections, similar to Lunarian description in anime (shown in sun spots, and are loosely referred as souls), and crystals, need sun light to stay active, so gems could be an experiment to combine both forms, and despise for organic, could be from fear of death, where Crystals and Lunarians are almost immortal and long living, the organic persist as a species, but as an individual just perish.

Both gems and crystals (Houseki no kuni), are born from earth/planet, the gems form is light projections, similar to Lunarian description in anime (shown in sun spots, and are loosely referred as souls), and crystals, need sun light to stay active, so gems could be an experiment to combine both forms, and despise for organic, could be from fear of death, where Crystals and Lunarians are almost immortal and long living, the organic persist as a species, but as an individual just perish.
