I have my traveling tryouts today and tomorrow and I’ve been practicing for the past 6 weeks. My biggest problem is probably mental so this video is good.

Coach Madden, I just thought of a good idea, a baseball app where we can see drills posted by people like you, and it can also have a chat section where players and coaches can share messages, pictures, and videos on drills, progression, or cool highlights!
Next year I’ll have high-school tryouts This year is my second year of Pony League What sucks is we don’t have baseball yet because it’s snowing up here in Pennsylvania still
I'll be having my tryout without any prior experience to baseball all I know is to catch but I've never really played in games since it's a rare sport in my country and mostly private schools with good sport equipments play it

The second screening where the alumni players will decide who will go to the 12-man roster I didn't get picked. The reason was because I think I'm lacking and I should tryout next year but actually it's my last year to try out because I will be transferring to a different school. I cried after arriving in the house deym hits hard realizing you don't have the chance to play anymore. Few days later when they were practicing they called me saying I should get gloves and field some fly balls, I immediately run and fitted the gloves and field. There was a spot in the roster where the player is not attending practice they are planning to change that player. I was given a second chance so i practiced everyday knowing that I have a 50/50 chance to make it to that spot. I was conflicted to make s choice because my aunt don't want me to play baseball but my Dad supported me. Then after a few days I was entered to the 12-man roster practiced in the heat of the sun of burning hot Philippines weather.
I have a tryout coming up for the senior leagues. I haven't played or touched a baseball since jr high/45 years. I recently lost over 70lbs and wanted to see if I can still do it. I went to the batting cages this weekend and will have a couple more opportunities to return before the tryouts. To my surprise, I connected on the very first pitch at the 40-50mph range and hit these well, but not nearly as well once I went to the 60-70 mph range (the speed of the tryouts). Will they make us seniors run the 60 yard dash? I didn't think about trying to prepare for running. Thanks for the video, great tips.

Check your area. As long as there is a rec league, sure it’s possible. If there isn’t, then speak to your school team’s coach. The objective of this talk isn’t “to get into the team” when you know you wouldn’t be able to qualify your way in. But ask if you can hang around the team as they train, and train together with them. Be creative; make opportunities for your self.
I’m a pitcher and have been injured since December and just got released last week. I then got hurt again lost a tooth and busted my lip and I come back the day of tryouts so I’m very worried I’m not prepared. I haven’t been able to run and field for over 2 months. Im very worreid about the 60 and fielding. Im a pitcher so im not sure if I need to be worried. What should I do?

question, how long do tryouts usually take?
a little over an hour or so, depends on how many positions you're trying out for. Sometimes teams even do 2 day tryouts so yeah.
