  • The site is set to become a green parking area by this summer, more than five years after the county agreed to buy Hilltop’s 17 acres for the Bengals.

How about we start addressing some of these damn potholes, crumbling bridges and cracked sidewalks. I've driven on smoother dirt roads.

oh boy, some bike lanes!! cant wait! why not add another street car while we're at it? what a joke. these people are running this city into the ground. i personally liked the Hilltop Concrete there it made me feel like someone was actually making use of the river's economic advantages. but how about repaving some roads? we've only been asking for that for 18 years now.... not to mention 471S is still closed! get these people out of office already

The city should have gotten rid of that plant many years ago. It's a freakin' eyesore and it detracts from the whole riverfront. (It would have been way, WAY cheaper if done a couple decades ago too)

Why get rid of it? Just so some rich people can enjoy the view?

@jonathanjones3126 - Not for some rich people to look at, the whole freakin' world.

@Iowrider714 30 million plus dollars for a parking lot that will be a money pit instead of a net tax paying company

@@jonathanjones3126 - Like I said in my original comment, if they'd have done it decades ago it would have been much cheaper

@jonathanjones3126 - And btw, wherever the cement factory relocates, they will still be a "net taxpaying" company

Wouldn’t be so nice if we use the money to revitalized the railroad. If not, at least use the money to fix the existing i
Infrastructure before it falls again 🤦🏻‍♂️
