    Finally narrating these videos with the athletes and not some random voice. Good job IRONMAN!

    Thank you @Ironman Triathlon for changing the format of your videos back to the 2016, I hope it continues to be like this one. While I watch(ed) every video, I do it for the love of the sport and the love of the athletes. This is the winning formula for your videos to inspire others and to share, not the 2017/Beginning of 2018 travel promo videos. I think that format would be find as an introductory video to the sport, not for a race day recap.
    BRAVO IM!

    I took up running 2 years ago, and love it. I'm 36, my goal is to do an Ironman by 40. What a sport.

      Hell yeah! People like him are such an inspiration of positivity. So many people would have given up after 2-3 tries.

    best self advice if I do this again - get some lip balm for the cycle race - so dry out there!! But a great fun event!

      You can find videos of pro racers all over the place ... triathlon is predominently made up of thousands upon thousands of Age-groupers & this video does them justice & gives them the recognition they deserve!

    • @MrAdamCoates
      @MrAdamCoates 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm all for amateur sport (as I do compete in AG myself... so thanks for the recognition), but fundamental we have historically admired sport for amazing performance and thorough bred athletes... think about the numbers of people who watched the old gladiators and to this day the 100m final at the Olympics... its a spectacle... it draws people in because watching those few who can run at 30+mph is amazing to see... Ironman just has a knack of down playing the professional side of the sport because at the end of the day it is the age groupers who pay the bills , don't get me wrong, watching age-groupers who manage work alongside the training is remarkable... but there is a reason why the local 10ks does not have the same draw as the Olympics... I just wished Ironman provided the appropriate coverage of the pro racers which they also deserve just as much
