If it was easy then everyone would do it. You said it when you said you want to do this. Follow your passion. It will reward you a million times more then the pain of the hard work. I’ve been training for 9 months now. Done 6 sprint and two Olympic distance. Doing a half IM on December 1st. The training was hard from the beginning when I would only swim 200m and run 1km. And it’s still hard now when I’m biking 100km and then running 10km after but God I feel good inside my mind now knowing I’m heading towards something I once thought was impossible.
