Robby, there are many of us out here in viewer land who want you to build this Jeep project for yourself! Go for it! This will be good!
4:20 Don't do it. @RobbyLayton, you've become the guy all these TH-camrs keep shoveling work on (I pray Matt makes good with you on the nugget). This "gift" is Holly's audacious way of manufacturing more videos for herself in the future, she's desperate for content and is trying to squeeze it out of you. The fact that she didn't even ask you if you'd like to build a jeep with her before cornering you on video was a really really really big d_ move and it showed clearly. It's a terrible gift to begin with anyway. The only items you were fake coveting, to be nice, weren't being given to you. I'm shocked that Holly would make this move, but if you look at her figures she's plateaued. She'll have vids on her channel with Matt or Fab Rats or Bleepin, and they'll hit 200k or more, but her sub base stays right around 60k. Three out of four people who watch vids of her with those people, on her own channel, don't subscribe - they come to her channel to see them over and over again and they don't press the red button. Don't do the build, it's a bad move in every way. 8:23 You look so pissed at what she dumped on you. Poor guy.

cool gift, Robby and Hillbilly really need to build this up like mischief maker, they need a good buggy for recovery, though Rory is building the layton Ateam rescue rig, both are goin to be great additions to the layton nation lineup, yes Robby BUILD THE JEEP, and put more of Hillbilly in the vids, He reminds me of a buddy I had that could fix anything in a pinch.

When a paint and body guy is as much of a perfectionist as Robby it's hard for them to understand some things are made to take abuse. Such a very nice gift from an even nicer person!
Yeah for the locations rock crawlers etc go Robbie's eye for detail is a little out of place, as they will by nature pick up dents and digs, shame as he loves his job and everything has to be 100% for him.
Yeah, but he's been demolition derby for years so it won't take him long to get used to it!!

Robby can get a jeep frame whenever he wants, for free. The fact that he hasn't, says something important. And it's not like he doesn't have projects stacked up. The current side by side, his YJ that needs a major overhaul and its a working recovery vehicle so he needs that up and running, and he cant wait to start on his Dodge Charger.
I have to say he did not look overwhelmed with his gift. What are the wheels like. 🎉

Robby looks tired. I think the Golden Nugget build is taking a toll.
And he is also going off energy drinks, so he will be dragging for a few days! But he needs to get off them, he was downing way too many of them every day.
Holly is way more excited about giving someone a frame than i ever would be. Like its a nice gift, but idk if robby got time to build that anytime soon. Personally its nice thing to do, but its not like wow drop everything and check this frame out hahahahahahahahahaq.
I should say though, that as a canadian in the rust belt, ive never seen a frame so beautiful, except at the dealership lol.

Robby is working on all of his costumers vehicles, his Charger, the wrecker (currently at Rory's), his sidexside, possibly still has Golden Nugget, the Rokon should show up soon, but SURPRISE 😆 He really needs a rock climbing rig. He had a lot of fun with the give away Jeep. Very good of you Hollie and Walter.
I'm just thinking he needs a built jeep not a frame because he's already got a broken jeep Cherokee but I'm sure I'm wrong. From what I've seen from Hollie she intends to help make this build happen and its probably a more versatile rig than his Cherokee but I'm just a spectator with no jeep knowledge.

Sweet!!! Great starting point!!! When something this custom is created, no need to start with a complete vehicle and scrap 90% of it. Just start with the foundation and build what you want how you want!! ♥️♥️

How about the “Morr Mischief LAB Rat” to capture all those who will be pitching in to make this thing a reality.
I don’t know…I may be wrong…I know Robby has to be exhausted but Robby didn’t seem too pleased with the bare frame. He now has to source everything else including the engine, transmission, transfer case, suspension, diffs & axles, wiring, body, interior, steering, entire brake system, etc. Paul Cox would probably love receiving the frame as he is a fabricator with vision and imagination for building something from nothing and he has lots of other vehicles and parts to rob for the build. Robby is the consummate perfectionist who does phenomenal work and is able to imagine and vision the beautiful finished product when he has more to work with. It seems he sent his wrecker build to Rory Irish for Rory’s creative fabbing and probably partly because he doesn’t have time to work on it himself. Robby might not be too interested in such a big project especially given everything that he has on his plate and is already committed to. If it were given to me I would probably be “Thanks…I guess” then start thinking of the cost and hours it would take to turn the frame into a finished vehicle.
It’s a great gift and so thoughtful and generous but perhaps not what Robby wanted. He sure seems exhausted and needs a break. I’m sure all his guys are worn out as well from all the incredibly long hours and weekend work. But, man do they do incredible work!
There is a plan in the works and he’ll be receiving much more than a frame. All you gotta do is be a little patient.
