Loved watching this #currentlyinked video. I must be as much a mood-inker as I am a mood-reader, because my TBR (to be read) and TBI (to be inked) lists are ever-changing depending on a number of inspirations. This used to concern me, but now I’m just relieved that no matter where my headspace is, I know there are so many interesting options at hand.

Truth! I’m eyeballing my oranges right now…and other neutrals. Guess it’s that time if the year! :)

I like having 7 pens inked, I use a different one each day. I like matching pen colors with ink colors. For instance, a red Lamy safari with Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses, Diamine document blue in a blue & bronze Twsbi, in a green Jinhao 80 with a Lamy Cursive nib, Organics Studio Jane Austen. A blue Sheaffer Triumph Imperial with blue Sheaffer Scrip ink.
I have 4 Twsbi pens, but don't get to change inks too often, because they have a huge ink capacity! They are fun, and I recently discovered that a 2ml ink sample fills them up completely!

:) I have a TWSBI mini that I use exclusively w/my Hobonichi Weeks planner. I filled it in January…it’s still going strong! Lol!

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed the color palette. I‘m waiting on Dominant Industry Maple 🍂. Currently I‘m exploring and enjoying blue-black inks as well as dusty pinks and purples. I don’t need for my inks to match my pens, which is very helpful, haha. How is the Super 5 ink working for you (flow/wetness)? I‘m asking because it’s a waterproof R&K ink. Is it easy to wash out and do you use water or pen wash solution? I have the R&K Lotte on order for sketching (it’s also waterproof). I plan on using watercolors on it. Yes, I‘ve decided to use some of my pens for urban sketching, we‘ll see how it goes.

Nearing needing to clean that Super 5 ink…but not quite there yet. I like the color & performance of it.

@rc17268 Hi Robin, You've got such a nice line up this month! I'm eager to find out how you like the R&K Dublin: I am such a sucker for green (and brown and spicy orange) inks. I, too, wish I had a couple of bottles of that Smoky Quartz. Heck, I'd settle for a single bottle at this point. I don't know why I never got around to picking up some of it.
That Wearingeul Resurrection is pretty. I've got the Jane Eyre permanently inked in a TWSBI ECO broad and have found that to be a successful pairing. I've tried it in my F-C Salmon Glow with a medium stub, but I found it too dry for that pen, so I had to flush it out to try something else. Speaking of Wearingeul, I think you were spelling it correctly the first time through; the "e" precedes the "u." I can't tell you how many times I have to pause when writing that word because I see so many people spelling it "ue" instead of "eu" that I always feel like I have to double check the spelling because I doubt my memory when it comes to the geul ending.
Like you, I don't know how those folx who manage to work through their inks each month do it. Even in years past when I rarely had more than two or three pens inked at a time, I wasn't necessarily changing ink colors for a given pen, so I found that I used the same colors over and over and most of my inks just lingered unused in bottles. For the most part, I've been of the habit where I dedicate a pen to a specific color no matter how many inks I continue to add to my stash. Like @queenbuzybee4074 (hi there!!), I generally don't match my inks to a pen's color, but I do try to match the qualities of the inks to the nibs, so if I was inking up just a few pens, I wasn't using most of my pens or inks.
In the past I used to have great anxiety if I inked more than three pens at a time; I could never stand the thought of having to clean them out fairly quickly if I wasn't using the pen regularly enough to keep the ink flowing. I've since taken Jane's advice (@fountainpensinksmore3290) to give myself permission to enjoy using my inks and my pens and just learn to ink as many as I wanted to and to change pens often as I write. As a result, my letters and journals have taken on a new visual appeal that I find quite pleasing, and I'm now inking up 10 or 20 at a time and sometimes more if I participate in #30inks30days. I don't mind if I use one pen/ink color per paragraph and switch through a dozen colors in a day; that's actually been quite fun, and I am going through my inks quite frequently, which is a nice change.
Anyway, enough of my yammering. I look forward to your video about setting up your TN for sewing projects. I use Leuchtturm1917s for knitting notes, but I rarely bother taking sewing notes, so it will be interesting to see what projects you are working on.

Phew! That took me a while to process! Thanks for the feedback; always appreciated!
That Dublin green ink was wonderful and cleaned just fine. I'd never leave it in a pen for a long time, though.
Aah, the quest for the discontinued things. I started looking for a Smoky Quartz dupe today. Someone somewhere suggested Dominant Industry Lungo; I guess I'm just not in the mood to experiment right now.
Again, thank you so much for your comments! I appreciate it!
