I think it sux; like you was enticed by the mRotoAI and mTracker3D with an initial price offering of $288 for the first year and now the renewal fee is $348. I'm considering not renewing ... I'm wondering if you know what will happen if we don't renew? Will the plug-ins stop working?
Just came across this video. I'm about to join the MotionVfx eco-system. Let me be the first to say, I despise subscription-based platforms. If I could just buy flat out, I would. We here today, know that companies do this to stifle our growth and control our creativity in the long run. It makes this new capitalism the new indentured system. Big up's for speaking out.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙌🏻TH-cam keeps removing our comment where we explain the pricing in more detail, but we want you to know we genuinely care about our community. I’ll make sure to share your video with the team so you can rest assured that your feedback is being heard.
As someone who has looked at Cinestudio and have purchased a number of MVFX products now I just can’t justify a subscription that is more than $15 a month… that’s not because I can’t afford more, it’s because I can’t justify it to myself due to limited number of times I would use Cinestudio…
just make the plugins also available for purchase standalone, I think the sub is a good deal for a one and done, but for example if you really want to have one of them forever you neees to have the option to have. That is whats frustrating if saas
I totally agree…. I’ve bought a lot from them, probably over 100+ items now. I really wanted to buy the rotoscope and captions plugin and was absolutely gutted as don’t do subscriptions. Good News though, looks like FinalCut has a Rotascope tool coming :)
I totally agree! feel like I wasted all my money on that subscription when Final Cut Pro 11 just released the magnetic masks oh and I wasted on the 3D sub since they still did not release the full package of what it gives
@@DavisTcg absolutely not. I was disappointed by the move too especially because you can't buy the AI Captions separately but i'm considering trying out the studio. I'm sure you've bought tons of the stand alone products that's why you're more upset by the move.
It is better to buy single packs, or pay subscription, when you leave the subscription you have nothing, if you pay for each pack you have the pack in the final cut pro forever
How y’all feel about double subscriptions?

THANK YOU! I thought it was just me. It was bad enough when the prices went crazy high. NOW the mandatory subscriptions are getting to be too much.

I love motionvfx but the pricing is just too much.
I just bought the expensive plan and now the features i purchased for are free smh...😢

@@robpaultog yea I saw that also fx factory released a similar plugin you can purchase it works great

When you already own many plugins and then forced onto subscription it's a kick in the guts. When my plan runs out I'm done with them.
Totally agree! Sad to see MotionVFX moving to these subscription services.
😂😂😂 “why you charging me $300 a year?!” Yooo you’re funny bro
Nah but did I lie tho ???

@ I switched to the design studio cuz it’s less a year you can buy rotomatic from Fx factory for like $150 and it’s just as good as theirs
I wanted to purchase the caption plug-in but when I seen it's part of a subscription I had to pass
yea im not feeling the subscription model at all

I hate subscription. I left Adobe because am sick of their subscription model. There other alternatives. I gotta justify the subscription model
Captionator is one time
I agree.
