@@paolomaldini5022 no estoy deacuerdo, se tiene que entender que el futbol era diferente, era mas lento, pero eso no quiere decir que era mas fácil, era mas lento porque el balón, los uniformes y los zapatos eran mas pesados no había necesidad de correr tanto y se me olvidaba mencionar que antes no se mojaba el cesped como ahora, las patadas eran mas fuertes ya que no había tantas cámaras, si se piensa que el futbol es mas rápido hoy en día y es mas difícil, pues es una idea muy erronea porque la velocidad no tiene nada que ver con la dificultad, se tenía el mismo grado de dificultad, para mí es el mejor equipo de la historia porque jugaba bonito, ganaba, gustaba y goleaba, además contaba con los mejores de esa época junto con el mejor jugador de todos los tiempos le pese a quien le pese, metió mas de 1000 goles, ganó 3 copas mundiales y no ganó 4 porque en el mundial de 1966 se lesionó, el día que alguien haga eso ya podemos tener un debate, mientras tanto ahora es Pelé y los demás

Tambien ten en cuenta que él quería a toda costa evitar un cruce con Brasil en esas instancias y prefería a Inglaterra, pero luego de los triunfos contra Bulgaria y Marruecos no recuerdo si fue José Fernández quien declaró en una entrevista que los jugadores se habían conformado con ello y no pusieron su granito de arena contra Alemania. La verdad es que el arquero fue de lo que mas influyó en el avance del equipo, Rubiños no dió la seguridad debida
El partido fue parejísimo. 29 remates de Brasil y 27 remates de Perú. Lógicamente este video solo muestra ocasiones de Brasil dado que el documental se llama "Pelé vs Perú" o sea todas las jugadas solo se centran en Pelé y en Brasil, mas no en el rival. Infelizmente Paulo hoje só temos jogadores medianos,naquela época em cada time brasileiro tinha 3 ou 4 craques realmente e o resto do time muito bons jogadores,hoje na seleção temos os autênticos pés de rato e que só querem se importar com os milhões,vi a copa de 70,e me dá tristeza de ter visto tantos craques e o maior de todos os tempos e ver esses de hoje,é de dar tristeza.hoje o técnico quer que a seleção jogue como europeus e o que está matando o futebol brasileiro é a retranca e nosso futebol está envenenado pelos sistemas táticos e nosso improviso que é nosso ponto forte foi assassinado e enterrado,mas ainda vamos voltar aos bons tempos.

In the 1966 World Cup the opposition just went out and kicked him is those far off days they got away with challenges that would get players put in jail, but Pele just keep going till one of the opposition destroyed him . It is also worth mentioning that the ball in those days was at least 10 times heavier than the ball today. While I would agree that all the players that you mention are World class I am sorry to say that they are not in the same League, so let us agree to disagree.

We watch Messi games or Maradona individual highlights, and in their prime they were monsters. Did very special things in a game. Watching Pele I don't think so. Losing ball many times, doing special things, but I don't think something that special. His World Cup highlights r available, none of his performances were close to Maradona 86. May be great in club level, but seeing the scores I don't think that club games were that lvl. He was consistent, a scored lot, and was in team winning 3 World Cups, but I don't think he was best in one of them after watching it.

I am 79 years old, I love football, as a young lad I played football not at the level that I would have wished, I then coached lads at a high level, some of them made the grade, the point been that I would have an educated opinion, so if I think that he was the best of all time I would be shocked that he did not make somebody’s top five. In my opinion you can't compare football players from back then to today. Matches are so much faster now and players need to be incredibly fit, having the stamina of like a horse.
For example look at goal kick situations when passing to the defender, see how often the opponent just lets the team advance to midfield without any pressing... these days players in most cases start to press from the very moment the ball is set to play. It's a whole different rhythm.

En esa época se podía parar la pelota, levantar la cabeza y pensar la jugada. Hoy en día el fútbol ( como casi todos los deportes) tienen una velocidad que me hace pensar que resultaba más facil jugar.
