Doesn't seem to me that this was the greatest footballer of all time. It's only one game of course but this was at his prime. I watched the final of 1970 and he did not look very impressive. Maradona definitely a cut above. Unfortunately he paid a high price for that hand ball in 1986 and if the dive was not given as a penalty in 1990 he would have won his second world cup.

In this match Gerson scored the first goal with a right foot kick from outside the box. One of the Soviet goals was rather weird ( not picked by any camera I know)since the Brazilian GK Manga kicked the ball against a Soviet player and it got into the net.

nessa época o tamanho do gramado do campo, era quase quatro metros maior no comprimento, e quase quatro metros maior na largura, e o tamanho das traves dos gols eram menores, salvo não estou enganado, não me lembro direito, mas acho que a partir do ano 2008 a FIFA mandou que, todos os estádios cumprissem a nova padronização, ou seja, diminuíram o tamanho do gramado e aumentaram o tamanho das traves do gol, em resumo, o jogador moderno joga num campo menor com as traves do gol maior.

Acho que o pessoal tá meio estressado.
Doesn't seem to me that this was the greatest footballer of all time. It's only one game of course but this was at his prime. I watched the final of 1970 and he did not look very impressive. Maradona definitely a cut above. Unfortunately he paid a high price for that hand ball in 1986 and if the dive was not given as a penalty in 1990 he would have won his second world cup.
