side note: yume ume so the "e" is pronounced like the "e" in "elephant", which can be awkward at the end of words if you're not used to it. it's not quite a long "a" like "mei" but almost. it's okay, you're trying! and "ume" means "plum" and I know this because umeboshi (pickled plum) has been my favourite food since I was little.
