Tandem Top leaving her airborne regardless of version really makes it that much trickier of a move. It's a guaranteed 4-way mixup without spending meter.

One thing I noticed was that once Health gets low, the Guts mechanic hits damage output REALLY hard. So maybe it's a little too early to tell if damage will be an issue.
i liked that they made her a little more straightforward compared to her last iteration. She still has really good Oki options even if the actual Oki setup isn't as diverse (no more secret garden, which was really hard to use well). The feel and strategy of the character seems to be in tact.
at 1:28 in the combo, the wallsplat "froze" the game, and right when it unfronze she air dashed into a hit. anyone else believes that the freeze will fk up lots of combos? its kinda weird to have such a momentum switch
There could be an input buffer during that, but wallsplats only can take one or two hits before break anyway, so dropping combos looks like the lesser thing to be concerned about

@@14megasxlr it is the fact that the combo counter gets so big that it takes up the majority of the screen in only 16 hits, and at the end, the beat appears in a big distracting black color for a breif second. Most of the flashiness doesn't come from the ui.
most set up characters are going to change and i can see why with the screen transition. They can be either overpowered as hell or underwhelming as fuck.
