This foundation is a perfect example of why I don’t like skincare infused foundations! We all have different skincare routines, and I can’t imagine a foundation mixing well with all different products. I heard from another creator that he recommends combo skin people skipping face cream before applying. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience! 💕
@@monicapatton1405 Not everyone uses sunscreen all the time. I don't. I especially wouldn't wear it at night since there's no reason to. It's possible that they expect you to wear it in the evening?
I tried shade 10N. I am 53 years old with very dry skin. I like it so far. It definitely feels more like a tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation. My skin absorbs the hydration. I would not recommend for oily skin.
I got the same color I am 54 and same happened to me my skin absorbed the hydration. It’s like a skin tint to me . Which I do like more light coverage. Will wear it more and see
Yeah me too! I just can’t get over my born this way foundation, my skin looks so good when I take my makeup off after using it, definitely my #1 foundation
I got my foundation yesterday, and I did a wear test today at work. I work in special education, so I am always on my feet, active, and half the time outside in the hot wealther. I am combo, aging skin. I am not acne prone. And I did wear mattefing primer and blurring setting powder. And this felt heavy. It emphaizes my pores more. It did break me out on the side of my cheeks, which I was so surprised it happened in the same day. It did clog my pores. Not sure if it had to do with glycerine ingredient. I love Patric Ta products, but I feel this one needs to be revised.
So happy I watched this. I don’t like having to change everything up just to make my foundation work. I have no time in the morning, plus there are so many products that just do the job without having to create a ‘special’ routine to get a nice base 😂
I saw someone was at the Patrick Ta launch party and he said this foundation can’t be built up so I think your observation is right😂 I just got mine in the mail I have super dry skin and like light coverage so I hope I like it!!!
I have combo skin and as much as I would love to get away with low to medium coverage, I have ruddy skin and that level of coverage won't hack it. Especially when I get hot because I end up looking like a tomato. Sadly, that forces me to wear full coverage or foundation with powder to coverage it up. It was so bad when I was younger that I wouldn't wear bright red or hot pink because it made me look even redder.
@@FoxxyFire-HellFrost if you’re near a Sephora you can always get a free sample of any foundation to try first in case you didn’t know. I do that every time because I have such a hard time shade matching with their lighting.
Up close, this product seemed to highlight/create fine lines that weren't at all visible on your bare skin. My experience with Futuredew was similar, in that it made my skin look worse. I'm oily and it feels like it never fully absorbs, so it leaves a filmy layer that settles into texture and pores, then adds insult to injury with glowiness that draws attention to them.
Bab’s Beauty said that Patrick Ta said not to use moisturizer underneath. So maybe that would help, but she didn’t use sunscreen either and I wouldn’t go out without sunscreen. I actually think it looks pretty on you. My problem, aside from an oily t-zone, is none of the shades were marked cool. Everything was neutral or golden . . . . So I would need to get shade matched anyway. I really didn’t like his other foundation, so for $58, I’m going to pass.
Yeah I saw her video. I thought that was weird that they said not to use anything under it. Even if the foundation has spf, it’s not enough because u would have to use a lot. I don’t think for $58, that there should be all those rules and having to work with it.
This is the most beautiful foundation I’ve ever used! I have 43 year old dry skin and live in Colorado (dry). The ilia skin tint was my previous favorite base product. I applied it over the milk in the black tube just on my pores (sides of nose). I used 1 pump and put finger prints evenly on my face and then stamped it out with the BK beauty big foundation brush. I powdered my t zone with CT. I’m in love and it applied beautifully on me (shade 13 olive).

I'm so surprised Morgan but I LOVE IT. LOL!! And I always get light medium neutral foundations and my skin is normal to dry. OK so, the first time I put it on it was too thick and serum like. I had it over tula 24/7 moisturizer with fenty hydrating primer. So it was WAY TOO sticky and thick and mask like. I hated it. SOOO I wanted to shift it up and try again another day! So now i applied my tula 24/7 moisturizer and this time I used Nars Mattifying primer and let it really soak in for like 10 mins. Then I took a damp beauty blender and went very lightly pouncing over my whole face and let that soak in. It looked great with one layer but I wanted a BIT MORE coverage so I risked it by doing one more very light layer and it looked and felt great. I have not enjoyed my experiences with the brand. I think that the products are beautiful but a lot for the aesthetic. Eyeshadow palettes, blushes, should not be molding. The brand refuses to address this
@@nazaninslife did you get mold in yours? That sucks I am so sorry. I only have his matte eyeshadow palette and that was before I found out about the mold issue. What products did you have that were affected
I am wondering. How does one apply a foundation balm? I have the KVD concealer and balm foundation. It felt dry on my skin. This is user error on my behalf. Not feeling good today so am organising, going through all my makeup and decided the unopened stuff to our Thrift store. Then they can find a new parent to adopt it all! 😂 It goes back in our community. ❤😊
I actually think that the foundation may look beautiful on my more mature skin… it looks so glowy and moisturizing on your skin (and yes… I dermaplane my peach fuzz 🤭)
So, you mentioned in the beginning that they say it's for all skin types... but they actually don't. They say best for dry, combo, or normal skin types but say nothing about oily which leads me to believe that it's not in fact best for oily skin types but is recommended for people who deal with dryer skin. I think part of the reason for that is that this product seems to have a decent amount of occlusivity (maybe from the squalene?, I don't know) and that is what makes it feel "thick" or "heavy" while actually being relatively thin as you were talking about near the end. I can't speak from experience because I have not bought this because I have a relatively combo - oily type and don't think this would be a good buy for me, but I have heard a few dry skinned friends comment that it's definitely hydrating and that it does in fact set down on them after 15-20 minutes and is rather transfer proof (pigment-wise... not necessarily glow-wise) which makes this really unique. Like one friend said that the serum-y feel will lightly transfer but no pigment will transfer for her, and she doesn't ever powder b/c of her dry skin. *shrug* Just thought I'd throw that out there and point out that they don't actually claim that it's best for all skin types. Love this review though b/c I feel like we're just on the quest with you. It's fun.
Honestly these makeup brands need to stop with skin care ingredients Like just give us a good makeup product. Inclusion of these ingredients really push the price up making it expensive and when both skin care and Makeup companies go to these manufacturers for ingredients again the demand makes these ingredients expensive. And people already do their skin care before. No way this is touching my skin after I have put 3 layers of skin care on.
"The pores are there. They're not screaming, but they're saying 'hey'"! 😂 Agree, though. It's a "no" for me. There are skin tints that look better with similar coverage and there are both skin tints and light foundations that can give that same juicy glow without the pore action, heaviness, and greasiness.
The makeup industry works hard, but Morgan Turner works harder!
Haha Amen!

I had to throw all of mine away
@@nazaninslife did you get mold in yours? That sucks I am so sorry. I only have his matte eyeshadow palette and that was before I found out about the mold issue. What products did you have that were affected
@@themellowmelodies. yeah both my palettes I had to throw them away
Morgan can you try the new Sephora collection skin tint & vieve balm 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This Patrick Ta Perfecting Foundation is so amazing to use
Unmmm no one perfected the serumy texture and performance like why Kvd did tbhhh😅❤😮
Which Fenty foundation were you comparing this to? Anyone else know too?
I actually think that the foundation may look beautiful on my more mature skin… it looks so glowy and moisturizing on your skin (and yes… I dermaplane my peach fuzz 🤭)
Patrick Ta needs to pull this and start over
Especially for $66 after taxes
So, how do we have a foundation set down?
I need a foundation to be my right hand woman and making me feel my best. Not embarrassing me telling everyone I got a fuzzy face 😂 lol
Morgan…the PT and Glossier Futuredew have glycerin and squalane at the top of the ingredient deck, I would assume that’s why they feel so similar.
How many of you like Morgan’s video before you even watch? ❤
Out of curiosity - what foundations would you point to at sephora for us oily skin girlies?
I would recommend for you to watch Nikki Larose. She has oily skin and has great recommendation videos. :)
I'm oily and I like the Urban Decay Face Bond, Estee Lauder Double Wear, And the Haus Labs Triclone. :)
Morgan if the foundation is not easy to work at that price you used fingers brush sponge is not good enough there is better foundations in the market
This is also how I feel how I feel about the Nars light reflecting!
The Patrick Ta website says best for dry/to normal skin. I am not sure what skin type Morgan has
