    ▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
    Rocket French Review (Is This Language App Worth The Money?). In this video, John (along with a polyglot who is fluent in French) reviews the French language course from Rocket Languages. Rocket is one of the most well-known French apps/courses out there. John talks about what the Rocket learning framework is all about, what the Rocket French lessons are like, and what sort of practice exercises you'll be asked to complete. Of course, John also discusses what he believes are the major pros/cons of using the Rocket French course are for learning French. Attempting to become fluent in French is extremely difficult so it's important you select an effective language program from the start. Overall, John likes that Rocket French program places a big emphasis on listening comprehension and practicing your verbal skills. He also likes that Rocket makes French grammar a priority throughout their lessons. Thanks for watching this Rocket French app review. Best of luck learning French everyone.

    Thank you very much for this video. Please clarify if you think that this method is useful for students who are somewhat intermediate in french and want to repeat but most of all to advance further. And if so .... which part of the Rocket French method will be useful or suitable to them ?

    You say that Rocket French might not be the best program for a visual learner but I disagree. I think I am a visual learner (especially in French) but what that means to me is that I MUST see the word I am learning. In Rocket French, I get to see every word in print so it works great for me. If you mean there isn't a picture of a bridge when you learn the word in French, then that is true. Be clear about what you mean because I almost didn't buy the program because I was afraid that it would be all audio. I bought the program through your link so thank you for the many reviews of different programs. I did ask a question on this page but don't see it in the comments and got no answer.

    I don't necessarily want to learn French (yet). I want to learn Spanish to be able to converse with long lost family members. And then I want to learn Japanese since my fiance and I plan on visiting in a few years!
    I have to say, I was on the fence between Pimsleur and Rocket, but I think I'm starting to lean more towards Rocket now!

    • @Cardiologyforever

      And if so, how to be able to read and write as well. Many thanks

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rocket does a decent job of teaching you to read and write, but it's definitely not their focus. You will learn enough to get by for sure, but they definitely focus on listening comprehension/speaking (i.e. conversational aspect). the problem though is other programs that focus on reading/writing, then lack with the conversational aspects. In my opinion, Rocket is probably the most well-rounded

      @@TestPrepInsight Thats really helpful. If I want to develop further after finishing the rocket lets say in Spanish/ French. What are the options to develop in reading and writing? And what are the options for further development in conversations?

    I'll be honest, the course is really well made overall but the audios are painful to listen to as they are so awkward in robotic in their conversations with each other (in English I mean, not the target langauge). They're constantly making weird jokes, I feel like these audios were designed for a child and not adults...
