I want to learn French because I've had dreams in French and also had some experiences where I felt/heard myself speaking French just as I was about to wake up. It's never really felt like a "foreign" language. It's been on my bucket list for quite some time.

I actually want to learn Spanish, but I went to France in 2013 and it was beautiful!! Our tour guide gave us some words/phrases to use in case of emergency when we split up for free time!

Great comparison. I’ve always wondered how Rosetta Stone stacks up against the others. I like the sound of Babel’s quick lessons.

I fell in love with French when I chose it over Spanish in high school. But now I am doing Rocket Spanish thanks to your review on the course. Im glad to know my options when I am comfortable in Spanish. Thanks for the video!

Oui, oui Eduardo est un Rocket Man! Rocket's interactive audio lessons are awesome. I used Pimsleur's free 7 day trial, and it is a close second. Excellent review of all four providers. I need to improve my French for my fine wine import/export business. Merci pour la video Jean.

I watched and commented on the other French course review vid and I found this video pretty helpful. I used duolingo for quite a while and I had learned French in school but so far I’ve made little progress and I’m far from a fluent conversation. From these reviews I think Babbel is my tasse de thé.
I’m also interested in learning other languages in the future.

I am actually interested in learning Spanish ☺️. My brothers wife’s family are all fluent/native speakers so I’d like to learn this language first! I would also like to use the second language to help me in the medical field. Learning Spanish would also come in handy to make sure no one is talking about me behind my back at the family barbecues 😂😂

    Hi John,
    Thank you for the review.
According to the CEFR levels, from A1 to C2, what level of proficiency can I achieve using Rocket French or any of the online courses you mentioned in the video? (assuming I complete advanced levels in these courses and I remember everything I learn)

    • @TestPrepInsight

Probably somewhere bordering on B2/C1, especially if you can practice what you learn along the way somehow. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I've been hearing for some time that Rosetta Stone largely banks on its name, but the program is tiresome and the results are so so. Or like my grandma would say, turns out the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
