    I don’t think anyone is doubted Mark Andrews talent, the dude is a stud. It’s the fact he’s been hurt the past 2 years. The best ability is availability.

      Thankfully he has a clear handcuff in Isaiah Likely who can provide starting caliber production when Andrews is out. Likely is a must-draft if you take Andrews.

    as a packers fan I wanna weigh in on the Musgrave/Kraft debate. I think you’re gonna see formations where receivers are rotated in and out more with 2 tight end formations. Kraft is an excellent blocker and proved himself as a nice safety blanket when needed, but musgrave is just a walking mismatch. Not a lot of 6’6 255 human beings on earth can run over 20mph, so he’s hard for a DB off of size and hard for a linebacker off top end speed.
    Musgraves injury was a lacerated kidney, not a muscle or ligament injury which is super promising considering he was good enough to return before the end of the season.
    Kraft is going to be so important in the run and pass blocking game, dude has a super high motor.
    Hot take but musgrave has an incredibly high ceiling in fantasy if he can prove reliable this season and will be a YAC FREAK.

    Would love if you went into route running , catching vs blocking and why you want these guys for their careers. I love Ferguson, his route running is crisp. Kyle Granson is a sleeper im hoping does well with Richardson. I drafted Trey McBride. A lot of the first half was about everything except TEs, which is a fun coversation but not TE talk. Its would be nice to know why the Kittles and Kmets are falling off and what kind of value they command. What about the Parkinson to Chargers trade?

    • @FootballguysDynasty
      @FootballguysDynasty  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was an extra Thicc Episode already or we could've delved into Route Running but we focused on what's most important, and that's usage. Thats why we talked about everything else in the offense. A TE can be a great Route Runner, but can still be utilized more often as blocker than we would want for fantasy.
      Which leads me into your point about Kittle, we briefly discussed Kittle once we got to his tier, but Kmet is a worse version of the same problem. They aren't consistently the Top 2 targets in their offense. Kittle is one of the best values if you're okay with the variance, but all that talent means he'll have lots of days where he isn't the guy. Moreover, having someone like Kyle Juszcek blocking frees up Kittle to STILL be productive despite this. Meaning he is a value, but still hard to rank above much more consistent target earners.
      And Cody Parkinson doesn't really matter yet in the current landscape. Vacated targets are a bit of myth because they are mostly earned. Hope this was helpful!

    Did a startup draft 2 weeks ago, landed kincaid and Pitts in the 6th and 7th rounds. Passed on hockenson because of the qb change and his injury for this year but otherwise he was my next choice

    Been looking for people talking more on Andrews. He looked fully healthy at the end of the playoffs last year..?
    Not dynasty , but going to try to stack Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Mark Andrews.

    The disrespect for Jake Ferguson is crazy. He beats out Luke Shoomaker, ranked TE 8 with 71 catches on 102 targets with 700+ yards to show for it….why is he so low when he’s only 25Yo?

    I think LaPorta ha a great season last year, but nothing to warrant a #1 ranking over someone like Andrews whose made a career of top level production. LaPorta had only three games over 75 yards and one game with three TDs out of his total of 10. He is definitely top 5, but not #1.

    • @FootballguysDynasty
      @FootballguysDynasty  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sam LaPorta had the greatest rookie TE season ever. We simply don't see production out of the position like that.

      @austinyoung8946 Mayer has another TE, below average qbs and 2 starting wrs, sinnot is a rookie has a rookie qb, and 2 starting wrs, Dallas goedert has two elite wrs and can't stay healthy. Waldron prioritizes tightends no other coordinator ran more 2 tight end sets than him and I think he was top 5 for play drawn for tight ends.

    using extreme outliers to say andrews is still a top tier guy works for making an argument but realistically the huge majority of tight ends don’t play well into their 30s they follow the same arc as wrs falling off at 28-30. andrews is absolutely not the te1😂

    • @FootballguysDynasty
      @FootballguysDynasty  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not so sure. TEs are proven to have longer production tails. Meaning they start slower and tend to Peak closer to their 30s.
